Have the Dolphins addressed X-Man's Desire for a new contract???

With all of the good will and wheeling and dealing today we don't want to have any disgruntled superstar players. Has Xavien Howard's desire to get paid been addressed as of yet? I haven't seen anything on it if so.........
 
I’m shocked we didn’t use his request as a means to net more cap space this year. Maybe we had it in our back pocket in case a stud FA wanted to come in but we didn’t seal the deal?

Either way we should probably figure out how much more we can offer on a signing bonus to roll over some cap and stock up on some post June first vets
 
Thinking they will wait until after the draft. If we redo his contract now probably results in more guarantee money that we would be on the hook for if we decided to trade him later.
 
I'd be giving X a small re-up and I'd be trading Jones in 2022.

Lots of good press corners to choose from this year, should be some value.

I think it's mostly speculation and fan speak. I doubt the FO has any desire to trade away a player who gets then more possessions like X does.
 
How does Grier turn X into 1st round pick next year is the real question

No meant to be super positive!!! I'm ecstatic. I just love X-Man and don't want anybody to upset or distract all of the good taking place in Miami Gardens right now. I'm being proactive.....You know that these things rear their ugly head at the worst possible time so I'm just trying to stay ahead of it......I want X to be a part of the rejuvenation of this franchise. He deserves it, in my opinion. Hopefully he will be super pumped as we are as fans though that's usually not the case on the business side of the NFL......
