I think we will see an improvement this year. I still see us finishing last in the east.

Patroits 13-3 still pride of the east and maybe all of football

Bills 7-9 with slight better d than last year and just enough playmakers on
offense

Jets 7-9 have made some nice offseason moves could surprise and contend for a wild card spot.

Miami 5-11 improved from last year. Same ole montra maybe next year!

I honestly believe we can break out next year if either Beck, Henne or McCown break it. OUR defense I believe will be solid again. The Front Office took the necessary steps to stop the run which was a MAJOR PROBLEM! last year.

If our Oline becomes great + R&R gets back into shape + John Beck breaks out = Wild Card or better.

Looking at things right now, I still believe we are the cellar dwellers of the AFC East.

We have improved immensely compared to last year's team--in all the three phases of the game (offense, defense, and special teams).

I think we're 4 wins better than last year: 5-11.

I don't think talent wise we were in the cellar, I think all the coaching changes and the injuries the last couple of years has hurt more then anything. I think you'll see a much more competitive team in 08.

Lol I don't like thinking 5-11 or 4-11, If we are then I am looking forward to draft Rey Maualuga from USC.

Two words: Cam Cameron. Biggest idiot to ever be a Dolphin. :shakeno:

I think you're right. We could of won 5 or 6 games with better game planning and coaching. The players quit after the 8/9th loss in a row.

I agree... we had so many injuries last year. Basically our back-ups were playing the entire year. Our starting QB, RB, MLB, S and more were out from practically beginning to end. Not to mention our starting WR was traded away. We have a lot of talent on this team.

Calling the Patriots the pride of anything considering the events and revelations of the last 18 months is utterly absurd.

The Patriots are the SHAME of the NFL!

The great thing about the NFL you never know anything can happen!!!

I think all the AFC East got better minus the Patriots. I say the Patriots because they will not be as dominating as last year. They still have old guys on that team. With each week getting tougher in the EAst, NE will wear down some. Still the team to beat for sure.

Brady makes them the best. Without him they suck. Gauranteed.
Jets still dont have a QB. Bills have to be able to just win because there is something wrong with your team if Romo throws 6 INT's and they still lose. Our QB situation is just a ?

OUr defense will be the key strangely enough. What defense will we have?

The thing I'm worried about is our pass defense and our passing offense. Then, the inability to pass will take it's toll on Ricky and Ronnie.

Its possible, it just depends upon how well everything gels, if a QB steps up and plays like a bonafide NFL QB, how healthy we stay versus our division rivals....etc etc etc

But yes....anything is possible.

Its Mantra I believe and we have one now. Win. The Jets have made upgrades, Bill have as well. Pats lost a bunch but drafted well. Truth is we have no idea what we're gona field. Mere speculation. On a optomistic note, everything points to 7-9. Whatever I am no expert, just a fan.

I think people are underestimating their offseason losses (Gay, Samuel, Stallworth). The offensive line was exposed in the SB. They are a solid, but not a dominant group. Many teams were afraid to blitz Brady during the season, but I think the Giants demonstrated that you have to attack that offense to slow them down. They are a finesse offense.
Rodney Harrison is nothing special in pass coverage. I see holes in that secondary unless some of their young player emerge.
Ellis Hobbs is an average CB and was abused in the SB with the game on the line.
Maroney and Seymour can't ever seem to stay healthy for 16 games.
They are not as talented as the Chargers and Colts across the board.
I wouldn't be surprised to see them fall back a little, especially since teams will be gunning for them.
I think last year most teams were intimidated by them. The teams that refused to be intimidated and attacked them (Eagles, Ravens and Giants) had the most success against them.
Look for more teams to adopt that strategy.
