Antonio Bryant will be a Free Agent in the offseason and he's a guy I really believe the Miami Dolphins will take a look at. Parcells drafted him back in 2002 and although they had a falling out they have kissed and made up.

Now I know a lot of us would rather have a big flashy guy like Marshall or Jackson but let's be realistic, unless a CBA is reached which it's look very doubtful, Antonio Bryant will be our best available option.

One thing many of us want is a #1 WR. We all have a different opinion on what a #1 WR is. IMO Antonio Bryant would fill that void. He might not be the best WR in the NFL but is that something we really need? We will always be a run first kind of team. This team will not go out there and throw the ball 50 times like we've seen many times this year. With Ronnie and Ricky back in 2010 we will be back to the 2008, early 2009 Dolphins team. Pounding the ball to control the clock. If we have Bryant on the outside not only will it keep the defense on their heels but it will open things up for the other receivers as well as the pass game.

Bryant has the ability to be a 1,000 yard WR in the NFL. I'm not going to fault him for having a down year because of Josh Freeman and a terrible Bucs team.

I'd really like to hear everyone's thoughts. As much as I would absolutely love Dez Bryant I think this is the best route to go. Cut Ginn, Sign Bryant, Draft defense in the first and then get one of the second tier WRs like Benn, Lafell, Williams, Thomas etc....

I think he could be a decent option but only at the right price. If there is no CBA next season, the free agent options may be slim and I don't think he's worth getting into a biding war.

I would feel more comfortable if we signed a proven WR, rather than relying solely on the draft.

Bryant is definitely an option and a good one at that. We won't be going after any of these #1's people think are available on this non-exsistant trade market. Marshall is the only one that maybe available but get in line, alot of teams will be interested and I doubt we will be for the price Denver will end up asking.

Boldin talks could heat up again but only if the cost is alot lower, I doubt the FO would even consider a 2nd for the oft injured and soon to be real expensive WR.

I would be surprised if our #1pick would even be used for a WR, I see a K.Walter, M.Floyd type player brought in. The FO might even believe P.Turner would be a nice addition to the active roster next year depending on his offseason workouts.

well said.

Bryant is VERY STRONG possibility. Rememebr last year BP kept sending him txt messages saying keep doing what you are diong, great job etc.

and he wont be as expensive or cost draft pics like Marshall or Boldin.
Denver said Marshall will be traded if a 1st and 3rd is offered. thats too much and a new contract same wiht Boldin. i would give a 3rd for Boldin but thats it. I'd prefer a line up of Bryant, Floyd, Bess, Hartline with a 6th spent on a WR with speed and all that instead of a tal typical slow guy.

I'd rather have Miles Austin (who will be a free agent) Braylon Edwards (who will be a free agent) or a second tier guys there is Lance Moore and Domenik Hixon who are both young and can stretch the field. Plus there is still the opportunity for Brand Marshall and Vincent Jackson. There is even the possibility at attaining Anquain Boldin who the Cardinals will be trying to get rid of this summer i am sure. I would rather take any of these younger guys than Antonio Bryant who seems like a one and done.

No, Marshall would be better because he would be a threat on every down, notjust play action situations

M.Austin, B.Edwards, L.Moore and D.Hixon are all currently restricted FA`s until a new CBA is settle by March and I doubt that happens.

Dallas will not let Austin just walk away he`s their best offensive weapon, it`s not gonna happen. M.Austin is also a non proven commodity, he's had one good year and will command a huge contract.

NYJ`s traded for B.Edwards, their also not just going to let him walk away for nothing. You call A.Bryant a one and done but B.Edwards is a one and done with more drops then a pop warner receiver but yet you want him?

We have two L.Moore`s on this team with one being better then him, no thanks.

D.Hixon is not much of an upgrade but atleast he`s also a return man.

There is no way possible that V.Jackson sniffs FA, none, notta, zip, ziltch, zero. How could anyone in their right mind think that a great WR that is also a great person, their go to player on a extremely talented team will be let go to walk scott free?????

Now let`s get to some real possibilities!

B.Marshall, he`s going to cost alot in draft picks and get in line because there will be plenty of suitors. We will not get into a bidding war and over pay for BM, the FO won't do that. Look at Cutler, Chicago overpaid and might be worse off then before now not having 2 first round picks to help that defense or Oline.

Boldin, he's 29 1 year older then Bryant, oft injured, wants a huge contract and will cost picks. I could see this happening if Arizona was willing to take a 3rd and 6th but then why wouldn't other teams jump in and offer alittle more?

A.Bryant is most likely to hit FA that can be a serious upgrade for us at WR. He won't cost any picks so we can fix the defense, he's a proven talent that gets along with our FO. This actually makes sense compared to all the other scenarios, most other choices are fan driven and not realistic.

Yah we did forget about Antonio Bryant....and so has the rest of the league. They want him gone in Tampa, he packed it in halfway through the season.

Even if there's a new CBA in place Jackson or Marshall still won't be available in FA. Both of those guys are stud WR's who will garner a ton of interest in a trade. Denver and SD will franchise these guys and either keep them or trade them for a kings ransom. The same goes for Miles Austin. Big play WR's who are coming off pro bowl type of seasons don't just hit the open market.

If we can get Bryant off FA and try and pursue one of the big name guys, we change our WR core from a negative to a huge threat quick.

Don't know why Bryant gets such a bad name here, he has had an attitude, but he's no TO. I also thought I heard Parcells made up with Bryant a while ago, don't know if I'm wrong on that.
