Other than what the previous posts said (sun on the north side/too far from the field) Joe Robbie Stadium is fine. I've been to Tampa, New England, Jacksonville, and I would take ours every time. Tampa seemed too cramped to me. New England has pretty cool set up, but for just watching the game and concessions JRS is fine. Our parking is better than all of them, too.

To get a roof on the stadium, that is going to cost some serious coin...and that is just for the locals officials..

Why waste any more money on this Section 8 location where Joe Robbie stadium now resides?

Ross should buy some new land in the Homestead area and build a new football only stadium that will put the others to shame. I would rather drive to Homestead...it is only 15-30 minutes south.

Tear down the old Joe and put up some more cheap motels and tiny over priced apartments.

i really liked what i saw in the concept pictures. hopefully they do something soon. i wish they could get a new stadium, but with the marlins getting a new i doubt we would anytime soon

Like I said before, we needed to preserve our history and had the Orange Bowl completely remodeled. That place would've been awesome with a refurbished up to date stadium!!!

Dump is the proper term, the description I've used for years. When I started attending Canes games regularly a few years ago after they relocated it was astonishing how pathetic the stadium is, once you ventured outside the club level doors. It's an aging patchwork disgrace with no threat of character and in the most irrelevant location imaginable. Walk up the ramps and around the upper deck and you can't believe it's an NFL venue. I particularly love how they drape the pastel banners over the ramps the past few years in a desperate attempt to conceal how drab and awful they otherwise appear.

It's short term fun to rip Jeff Ireland but that's mostly an offseason lark, kick 'em when they're down. The stadium is our greatest regulator, and it's been that way for a quarter century. Kudos to Roger Goodell for spotlighting the issue. I'm convinced the geniuses in the front office had no clue, like so many other topics.
