For what has been years for me, every third and long felt like a miracle if we converted. Every fourth quarter comeback was a gift in what we all knew would be a let down or dismal year anyway. Every lead we lost would be a damn near insurmountable climb.

I haven't felt that, the stress, the heart ache, the complete lack of trust in our offense or defense. The last 6 games you just feel like we are going to win!!

I was at that rams game, and something about the atmosphere, the gut feeling, I just didn't have any doubt that we couldn't pull out a win. I've never felt that with this team in a decade. Even our 11-5 miracle, I didn't feel like a true winner. I kept expecting failure. Our team was built to be mediocre.

But here we have gase, and all the sudden, for what seems like forever (basicallyMarino) we play to win!! Not hang on, not play well, not try to keep up....we play to put away!! Up 31-17 was a fine example, the gas never left the tank, the big plays kept happening. The previous fins would run x3 and hope to God we keep a one touchdown lead. There is just something about watching a WINNING team and not a team that is winning. Huge difference between the two.

I'm experiencing the calm, the innate belief that we can pull out every critical down, every long gain, any deficit. It's exciting to finally know we are playing to be a winner! No longer just hoping to win....go out and take the win. Truly amazing difference in attitude with this team, and it's rubbing off on me

I was in LA and watched that awesome come back. It feels good to not be completely hopeless on drives, downs, games. It's been a long time since we play to win and not to lose. We have the team fighting and never give up. That's how you become a championship team. I feel we have a team on the rise and is instore for very great things.

The 49ers game was the first in a long time where we went down first and I did not get negative or panic. I truly did believe the team would come right back and probably take the lead. It's been a loooooooong time since I've had that genuine feeling.

No doubt it's a different feeling with this team, but that fourth quarter last Sunday vs SF was a nail biter. Felt like I used to in years past when we'd blow a lead.....almost sick to my stomach. I was sure they were going to get scored on and it would go into OT. Glad they held!

I must admit I was very very concerned Sunday. I thought for sure SF would go for 2 if they scored there late...On the flip side I am now expecting the defense to get 3rd and long stops, my only concern is a penalty.

I don't think we were going to see OT. They were on road, and have nothing to lose. I fully expected a 2pt play to decide that game

I have more anxiety than ever to be honest. The only thing that comes with winning games are expectations.

What I certainly have a lot more of now is confidence. I was always confident in Tannehill, it was the parts around him that worried me.

Truthfully yes I have met the CALM. My son Carlo-Giuliano tells me on last Sunday "Dad your not stressing anymore when their up or their down why is that? I said to him, "I feel confident they can win and they will up or down." This winning streak may not die seriously its contagious. They have the will to win and they will do whatever they have to do to do it. Any means necessary OFFENSE, DEFENSE, ST's. People say to me "Look at that schedule its brutal down stretch." Really it is not, it is who you have to play because that is who is on the schedule. They now believe whoever they play they are going to WIN, not think they can WIN or hoping to WIN. They go in with a confidence. THAT IS THE CALM. Expecting to WIN. GO DOLPHINS!!! I feel this CALM has taken a pure hold on this team and it feels amazing.

It's been an extemy
Fun season since the steelers game. I'll be in Baltimore so let's pray they win this weekend too

Lol, yes!! Exactly what I meant!

I still fear the worst. My wife and kids commented after the Rams game that I am in a much better mood on Monday mornings. 6 games is not enough to retrain my brain. Every third down we convert on a pass that is thrown beyond the chains helps though.

Great thread to show the change of culture in Dolphin Nation. It's just the first step but I too spoke Sunday early in the 1st half about how confident I felt that we would come back. That last drive however did have me scared. SF had nothing to lose and I was very afraid that had they scored they would have went for two. Our defense was reeling and if they had given up 16 pts in the 4th the 2 pt conversion would have been the way to go for Chip.

But overall I really am much more confident when Ryan is in the 4th quarter with the game on the line, especially when Parker is on the field. Having said that however, the Ravens game has me scared. We NEVER play them well. We are due a bad game and I feel this is the week the streak comes to an end. If Ryan gets a lot of quick pressure from just the 4 DL they can do a lot to trap him and force some turnovers, something he has been staying away from. Having Sims back also gives me some hope though, it goes very understated what he does for this team. I would get him more involved in the passing game. He is hard to bring down for such a big man.

I want to see the Dolphins punish the Bills in a blinding Buffalo snowstorm on Christmas Eve to secure a playoff birth. That would put to rest decades of demons.

I won't be calm this season until we make the playoffs. After that I want more
