Since JJ was with Dallas. Saban looks like he NEEDS to win. That is so refreshing. Wanny treated this like a job, that he had to do and didnt want to lose. Saban is treating it like he is obsessed with winning.
Saban is using a 'low risk, high reward' system to judge whether troubled players, that other teams are too scared to touch, would be good additions.
Hey, if the worst that can happen is we just end up cutting the guy and it doesnt effect our cap, then what is the harm in bringing in RW or Boston, or Crowder, or Roth?
The thing you DONT want to do is have high risk and high reward, thats what can kill you. Giving two number one picks for a pro bowl RB who had trouble at NO? No you dont do that. What the Raiders did with Moss? High risk, high reward. I wouldnt do that. Drafting Randy Moss at 22 overall? I would do that.
Its all about low risk and high reward people.
