Since JJ was with Dallas. Saban looks like he NEEDS to win. That is so refreshing. Wanny treated this like a job, that he had to do and didnt want to lose. Saban is treating it like he is obsessed with winning.

Saban is using a 'low risk, high reward' system to judge whether troubled players, that other teams are too scared to touch, would be good additions.

Hey, if the worst that can happen is we just end up cutting the guy and it doesnt effect our cap, then what is the harm in bringing in RW or Boston, or Crowder, or Roth?

The thing you DONT want to do is have high risk and high reward, thats what can kill you. Giving two number one picks for a pro bowl RB who had trouble at NO? No you dont do that. What the Raiders did with Moss? High risk, high reward. I wouldnt do that. Drafting Randy Moss at 22 overall? I would do that.

Its all about low risk and high reward people.

my exact words in the pattern of UDFA thread

I mean, do some of the fans think if Ronnie Brown had issues off the field and a knee problem we wouldve risk the #2 overall pick on him? No. That should put it in prospective for fans that have any doubts about this.

Nick knows he has nothing to lose by giving RW and Boston another chance. Now, if they were asking for big contracts, he wouldnt touch them.

That's going to be a key difference. The Miami Dolphins will play to win instead of playing not to lose. I think most of you will be very surprised at just how much of a difference coaching will make this year.

nothing to lose, only to gain. im living in the present, if ricky and david come back and help are team win, then i will forgive ricky, but if he comes back as a cancer bye bye ricky

THat's exactly what I've been saying. There were be a remarkable turnaround for the Dolphins. I hope not many people are all that surprised. I won't be.

perfect example is the cowgirls in parcells 1st year

You play to win the game. Saban should claim he said that first, like the Oilers with the fight song.

Another thing is, many teams are following the Eagles and Pats in that they will only bring players in that have 'high character' and take players off their draft board and FA list that have any character questions. This fade, will lead to us being able to pick up players at very low risk that have great potential because other teams didnt want them because of questions about character issues.

Everything works in fades in the NFL. Someone wins with quick small fast defensive players, teams copy (look at all the teams that copied the cowboys defense) a team wins a few superbowls with the 3-4, everyone starts switching to the 3-4.

This 'high character' fade will lead to us finding stud players in later rounds, and i think it started this year with Crowder and Roth.

I'm not going to be suprised, because I expected, and so does Nick..
