My guess is Arizona and Atlanta are not happy that now Miami is looking for a new coach. Miami has been a top position in the NFL. Is that still true?

The Miami Dolphins Head Coaching job is one of the best in the league.

We're talking about a long history here, a proud franchise with the winningest record in NFL History.

So who ever takes over [KEN WHISENHUNT PLEASE] should feel honored to coach for this team. They should commit to this team and feel proud to carry Shula's torch. You are guaranteed success in Miami IF you manage and stay committed to do your job the right way.

Here's a clip from an AP article from the official site. Not much of a consideration for Caper's by the writer. Probably just an oversite. Shurely he will get a look. Also, Norm Chow should be our Rooney Rule coaching candidate.

"Possible candidates to replace Saban include Chicago Bears defensive coordinator Ron Rivera, former Green Bay head coach Mike Sherman, San Diego Chargers offensive coordinator Cam Cameron, Indianapolis assistant head coach Jim Caldwell, Tennessee Titans offensive coordinator Norm Chow and Pittsburgh Steelers assistants Russ Grimm and Ken Whisenhut."

Any coach would want to come to Miami over any of the other available jobs such as Arizona and Atlanta.

I think the job's attractive in that Huizenga is going to give you all the tools to win. He gave Saban EVERYTHING. The Dolphins also have pretty good facilities, it's a good location, etc...

But, the state of the team is a little bit in question. I'm sure everyone has heard the words "aging" and "defense" at least fifty times today, also the QB concerns have been brought up and beyond that Miami has a few questions along the line and a ton of coaches who may or may not still want their jobs.

I'd like to see Miami break the bank and try to get Charlie Weis from Notre Dame. To me at least, he's a pro coach in college and he knows offense. I expect to catch flak for that opinion though.
