Dan Campbell could make this speech. Philbin and Lazor would not be able to.

If you're going to war, and you need a charismatic leader who men will be willing to die for, Dan Campbell is the best choice.

Keep Bill Lazor at OC, and let him move the Xs & Os around.

Overdramatic much?

I'm excited to see what Campbell does with this team, but please lets now compare the GAME of football to war.

Dan Campbell is a rockstar of a coach! Being a HC is a different animal but as a coach who connects and gets it Campbell is a STUD!
 
Gonna be weird for he and Lazor? He was Lazor's assistant; now Lazor is his assistant.
 
The rah rah stuff only works for so long if you don't provide wins with it. I'm excited though for a fresh start.

Maybe because Jake Stoneburner actually caught a TD. All the players in his group consistently improved and have done well. Dare I say, he can actually coach.

Exactly. Being calm and cool like joe can work..if you do well. Philbin has come off as completely clueless and has been grasping for straws and scrambling for answers week after week. Doesn't exactly inspire confidence.
 
Loved Dan Campbell on hard knocks, by far my favorite coach on this staff, I'm glad he's getting a shot over the coordinators. I'm actually kinda excited to see what he can do with this team. We need his passion and players seem to rally around him. He can definitely relate more to the players than Failbin could
 
Campbell is the coach because the oc and dc are horrible coaches not so much because he was some great choice. I like him and hope we keep him on staff when we find our head coach
 
As long as our practices are more competitive....... I'm all for it. Dan Campbell is a good hire.
