Headcases anyone?

Well the draft is basically over so there's not much else to talk about. I don't mean to bash your team here but, you have two known headcases trying out for your team. Dosen't that seem odd to you guys, or at least worry anyone? Nothing makes a team more enjoyable than a 15-yard penalty for Unnecessary Roughness.

I definitely see one. But tossing a Jets Helmet hardly makes someone a basket case. Infact, i toss a jets helmet every morning before work.

I loved what Turley done. Did you see that play? Long after the play was blown dead which didn't justify the defender grabbing his qb by the face mask and trying to break his neck. Turley is exactly what you want on your team.

Turley is a competitor and got caught up in the moment during a very volatile play...not the same thing as Vick. In fact, the only thing that made that game watchable was the helmet toss. I liked it so much in fact, that I think the "Helmet Toss" should be added as a measurable event during the combine to test the intensity of all prospective lineman.

Really? Last I heard they were not on the team, but just attending the camp to TRY OUT for the team. Where is the harm in letting them show their skills to try and get signed?

I said that they were trying out. But if they get signed, well, it could be bad. Now Turley is a good football player, but he had one incident where he threw a Jets helmet. Yeah OK, your a Dolphins fan, good for you guys. But what happens if he blows his cool again. What if next time its a Steelers helmet, or a Vikings helmet, or one of the Ref's hats. I'm saying if he makes the team, he could have another outburst.

I don't mean to bash your team here, but don't you seem worried about your lack of talent? Somehow I think that would be much more of a concern than a couple of headcases trying out for a team. Nothing makes a team more enjoyable than an offense whose punter is one of its best players.

Wow. Once stupid incident out of the 10 years or so and thousands of plays he's been involved in. Somehow I'll manage to sleep at night.

If a Steelers, Vikings or (gasp) a ref was doing to our QB what that Jets DB was doing, then I hope not only Turly but others would get involved. A 15 yard penalty would be justified.
