Since nobody outside Steelcountry knows anything about the Steelers (other than Ben starting) I thought I'd give you Fish fans something to look for when watching our team this weekend.

  1. Duce, Duce and more Duce. We plan on running quite a bit, so be prepared for #22 to be colliding with Thomas quite a bit (hopefully Thomas will have dirty numbers by the end of the day - on his back ;) )
  2. Haggans (our replacement for Gildon) was a monster against Chokeland. Expect more of the same Sunday.
  3. Burress going long. I would expect Plaxico to be more involved with Ben at the helm. Maddox favored Ward on the 5-8 yard routes. I think Plax will get more deep corner routes under a Ben-led offense.
  4. Rolling pockets with Faneca leading Ben. This will be an adjustment for our offense under Ben, but we need to use his mobility.
  5. Polamalu being conservative on zone coverage. He got beat with a double move against Chokeland. He will overcompensate against your deep threats. I would expect your WRs to have a good day underneath if he becomes apprehensive. Otherwise, he will get beat long if he crowds the line of scrimmage.
  6. Our DL is the most underrated unit in the league. You will not be able to run. AT ALL.
  7. Special Teams will give us good field position. Randle El and Colclough will have a good day IMO.
That pretty much covers the major points. I look forward to being 2-1 after Sunday. Say hi to Hooty for me.:)

1. We can't run against any team, so yeah, we won't be able to run against you guys.

2. Our defense is pretty good and you guys definitely won't blow us out. If you win (which I think you will), it's going to be close because of our defense. However, we are having DT problems right now, so you guys might do well running the ball. You guys have good WRs but if we are healthy at CB I wouldn't expect them to do much.

welcome to the site. glad to have you:)

but a question on #6 what made you think we could run anyways?

Now comes the great debate of this game: will your recievers be better than a full dolphins secondary?

- You have a good QB in the Rook. I saw him against UCF live and he not only throws a nice ball , but was surprisingly fast for a QB of his size. I think though that what you really need is a quality back up QB and a speedy outside LB.

- How bout Ben for Fiedler and Eddie Moore? Have you seen Fiedlers' winning %!! Think about it.

Pretty confident there, aren't you Mr. Oozy? Hope we'll be seeing you back here on Monday to eat that big plate of crow.

I bet Hootie could whoop your a$$. ;)

We will not run youre correct, Burress going deep doubtfull. Dont be blind sided by our offense and assume that Ben Worthlessburger will tear up our defesne. Our D has only given up one touchdown in 2 games. Im thinking we might see more of Brian St. Pieere after we knock the snot out of Worthlessburger.

Miami 21

Faneca leading Ben? That could spell trouble for Ben after the crap Fanena was talking about not wanting a rookie starting. Not too worried about Duce. Don't forsee him putting any dirt on #54's back. He's not the Bus.
We can cover anyone pretty much.. Should be some good match-ups.

I guess we'll find out. I like him long-term, but right now may be too early.

LOL If we need some shade from the sun (behind his ears) I'd consider Fiedler, but only if we're talking Death Valley-type heat.

No way, Pittsburgh has a team? Since when?

Considering that Miami's D has given up an average of 88 yards passing per game to start the season against the league's reigning MVP and the number 1 pick form a year ago, I don't think Burress and Ward are going to be receiving too many balls from your talented rookie. Alan Faneca doesn't even seem to want to be on your team right now and he is one of your captains. Don't underestimate out D pal.

Even with Bowens and Chester out, I would venture to say that Roberson, Zgonina and Romero will be able to gobble up blockers and let Taylor go nuts on Big Ben. Surtian most likely plays and along with Madiso, will once again pair up and form the best pair ov cover corners in the game. Will Poole, our rookie CB, started his first game last week and played outstanding. I don't really worry about the passing game at all. Along with those three and Reggie Howard, we have the personell to match up with your receivers.

My biggest concenr is stopping the run. However, like I said, if the biig boys up front can do their job, Thomas and Seau will, rest assured, be damn sure reayd to lay the lumber on Staley and Bettis.

I am more worried about our offense against your defense honestly. Having McIntosh in at LT should help us out considerably on AJ's blindside. If what you said is true about us being able to get stuff underneath, we are money, that is our hwole offense to tell you the truth.

However, if McIntosh, James, McKinney, Whitley and St. Clair are somehow able to give AJ more than 1 second to pass the ball, you may see Chambers and McMichael chugigng down the field, ball in hand.

Good luck this weekend. The Steelers are always on my goodside, whenever they beat the Raiders so thank you for that! Here is hoping we are both 1-2 come Monday morning.
