I have been pondering this for the last 3-4 months and pretty much made up my mind with the most recent news announcement, I will be leaving Finheaven..

Being a lifelong Dolphin fan, I really felt I found a place I could easily call "home" here on the internet when I discovered this place. At first, I was head over heals in love with Finheaven and promoted it everytime I talked to a Phin player or a Phin fan.. I was eager to donate money and contribute in anyway possible to help this place grow...

With that said, I wanted to let AJ and all the mods know there are a few of us out here that don’t "feel the love" like we used to.. Personally speaking, I held great pride in being a "premium member" even tho I held no special privileges above any other member here on the board.

But now its different and its depressing to see the direction this board is headed.. so, I just wanted to let everyone know in advance I will not be renewing my annual contributions and leaving this board in search of another once my membership expires..

When a board grows like FinHeaven has over the last couple of years you're bound to lose some of the closeness among the original members imo. But its just part of the process. This is still barnone the best Fin site on the net. Now if you've been feeling neglected or unloved I really don't know what to tell you except good luck with your future endevors.

I agree. This site is growing at a rapid pace. Ads on 790 the ticket as an example. This site is growing and expanding into new areas and is groundbreaking in many ways.

If that means a few of the long-timers aren't getting the "special attention" they are used too........oh well.The future and the greater good can't be sacrificed because a couple of people had their feelings hurt.

Don't be rash. Make haste slowly.. Grow with the site and you won't feel left out...

It's not cool for you to go.. Just think about it a little more.. You and the other original brothers are the reason why FinHeaven is where it is today. Just remember that, Jeepster. :)
