Hey guys, I have already spoken with Mary but wanted to share with you as well. If you haven't noticed I haven't been online in awhile. I had severe complications from my myelogram test which lead to two emergency room visits which has kept me down for awhile. Apparently, the puncture wound from the needle to my spinal sack didn't close completely and was leaking spinal fluid to my brain which was causing massive headaches and after too blood patches it finally closed. They basically took blood from my arm and then injected it into my spine and the blood then helped clog the initial puncture wound caused by the myelogram. Anyways, the myelogram test showed that my L4/L5 disk bulge has now turned into a full blown herniation which is causing major pains and numbness down my left side. I am to have back surgery this coming week on the 25th to repair this problem and I just wanted to let everyone know what was going on. My first back surgery in 05' caused me be down for approximately 6 weeks but I hoping this one is no more than 4 which is the usual. With that and financial issues from being laid off I'm having a difficult month to say the least. Any thoughts and prayers would be greatly appreciated. Once everything has settled down I will have my wife log on with an update. I miss you guys and hopefully I will be back up and running soon enough. Til' then. Go Phins!

Jason

FH will be here and waiting for you when you return. Thanks for the update brother.

Also please know that you have my prayers. I have developed a little (or at least it started out as little) prayer list for concerns raised on this site. It is a portion of my devotional time that I have frankly come to especially cherish.

good luck Jason... I just had a friend go through his second back surgery and it has healed nicely. He had been on the morphine patches for months and getting worse when they finally did him again. They removed the two bent bolts and replaced them with better ones and with his back stapled from shoulder to butt on day four took himself off the meds and hasn't needed any except aspirin since.

Hey Jason, best of luck with the surgery, we will be waiting to hear from you.

How did you hurt your back the first time?

Hey I hope the back surgery goes well and that you'll be up and running soon. At least enjoy the morphine bro :)

That's some rough stuff bud.

Good luck with the surgery.
Hopefully this will bring you back to good health.

yes Jason. Good luck with this next bout! Heal fast.
