Heat expected to sign ex-Gator Walsh

Matt Walsh was ready to spend the next few weeks being a basketball vagabond, bouncing around the various summer pro leagues looking to prove his worth as an NBA prospect.

There's no need for that plan now -- not after securing what's expected to be a two-year contract with the Miami Heat.

man i always thought matt was a great player (dont really follow flordia bball) but i think he took them to the final four (not sure) but he just collapsed as a player i guess
