Heath Evans has something positive to say about Tannehill

Yeah, I heard that too last night. Was surprised.

He was probably just happy to talk about something other than defending the Patriot ways.

For the most part they are. Evans is a perfect example. He has high praise for RT17 but spends the rest of his time bashing the Dolphins. It's the usual media game. They say one nice thing, and the rest is all negative.
 
Evans badmouths most of what Miami does, but in fairness, he really likes Tannehill and is very complimentary to him, has been since I can remember.
 
did you see the look of disgust on his face when he turned to face the camera as the segment ended? it's almost like he was told to say a lot of what he said
 
Honestly, if I was him, I'd maybe be the same way. Dump on the team that dumped you and praise the team that made you a player in the NFL.

I was having discussion w/ a buddy of mine (Cowboys fan) who thought it was comical how pats fans felt the league/media hated them. I replied that the media does not like Dallas but they can be objective.

I don't give a hoot if the media hates the phins or not. A little objectivity every now and then re: the phins would not kill them; would it? :chuckle:
 
It's tough to take seriously anything Heath Evans says. He is pro New Orleans and very pro Brees, he is super pro New England and Ultra pro Brady and literally worships Belichik. He hates the Dolphins with a never-ending grudge. These things cloud so much of what he says that his opinions aren't worth the time it takes to hear.

Yes, he has always liked Tannehill. Yes he flip flopped as soon as the first report that Suh might consider Miami. Yes the people responsible for cutting him at Miami are long gone, but he hates the laundry ... even after the redesign.

It's like watching Oprah and hoping to see a well reasoned discussion of boxing, NASCAR, or the difference between scouting for a 43 and 34.

It might happen ... but you are going to watch a lot of TV before you see it happen twice.
