Heath Evans Hating on the Dolphins on NFLN

Who the **** is Heath Evens?
And who gives a ****. about a fullback that cannot analyse worth a ****. I give this thread 4 thumbs down.
 
my point was his argument was weak because what the offense does is irrelevant to whether davis' claim is tested or not. he apparently just wanted to throw in a shot at the offense instead of stating specifically why davis & smith couldn't cash their claim check. dbs are usually boastful anyway but i'd prefer davis had shut up until showing more on the field. the offense has nothing to do with it though and actually looks promising with a continually healthy Bush imo.
 
I could see a statement like this motivating Vontae. Not Heath Evans' criticism but Vontae's own declaration. It'll put pressure on him to back it up. Sean Smith though...I don't know if his mind operates the same as Vontae's. Too smart for his own good sometimes. He can psych himself out.

Not whining, just stating facts that even with positive threads about the team (seen rarely around here) you always chime in stating some opinion that trys to disprove everything positive in the original post and always end up comparing it to someone or something with the Jets

that comment was enough, but when fans on this site criticize a Jet player, you constantly try and prove them wrong and bring in this stat and that stat and will defend them for 8 pages back and forth, so how is that any different from me or any of the Dolphin fans on this site defending their team, and this wasnt even about Vontae and Smith, it was about Heath Evans having a biased smart @$$ remark and opinion toward a team that cut him

It's a valid point isn't it? I read all day how Mike & Mike, heath Evans, this guy on espn, that guy on FOX are all clueless b/c they say negative things about the dolphins. It's not just here, it's on any board. Who cares what these guys say and whe your team doesn't have success there will be more negative press than positive press.

I debate against misconceptions such as the Sanchez stuff, if someone gives valid criticism of the Jets I won't counter it. I came in here and bashed Sal Alosi, I bashed Braylon and said he should be suspended, when my team stinks I say so. I was here the day after you beat us and I criticized my team b/c they deserved it but when I see things that aren't true I debate those statements. That's why the board is fun, we all have our opinions and we all get to share them. Lighten up, you are a good poster and stuff like this shouldn't bother you.

Bush most definitely makes my toes curl up (pun intended). Seriously, if you're a Phins fan and you weren't the least bit excited after Carolina, check your pulse. You may be featured in the next George Romero remake.

But brotha, that was no cheap shot. His argument wasn't weak. If our offense is as unproductive and generous as they were last year, Heath is absolutely correct- Mr. Davis and Mr. Smith willhave many opportunities to live up to the statement.

I get what you are saying. Offense was not even implied in the situation but Heath found a way of getting an "and by the way your offense suuuuuuuuucks". Okay. In my opinion, not only is it clever, it's true (which is what makes it clever).

The Mike & Mike part did in particular bother me because they predicted 3 wins, which is an insult to everyone who was listening intelligence, there opinion that followed as to why was based of no fact or inside information about the team, their argument was "the defense is good but not great" if thats not a generic bland assesment id bet anything that either of them couldnt name 5 players on Miami's defense, and their obvious remark was about Henne, who is a punching bag for anyone who wants to doubt Miami, ill admit as many of us do that he was awful last season, BUT they still won 7 games in spite of him, he cant play any worse and the play calling cant be any worse and they only resigned their own players and added more players, so if anything they should be 6-10 7-9 at worst, but for supposed "Experts" who some how got their own radio show, to say they will be one of the worst teams in the NFL and have 3 wins with no real support of their argument just pissed me off (sorry for that rant but those 2 are clowns)

Stop being so courteous. It's not okay to like you. It's almost as if that is your diabolical scheme. You get Phin fans to agree with you and the next morining they are in the shower looking like Ace Ventura the moment he finds out the truth about Ray Finkle.
 
I think Finheaven treats the Dolphins like many people treat family. It's OK if we dog them, are negative, say the coach QB, RT, RG, LG, TE, #2 WR, all suck but if someone outside the family does it thats fighting words. Half the time it's the most negative posters who find or hear the 3-13, 2-14 stuff in the media and post it here all pissed off. Honestly I never thought I'd see a 4 page thread about Heath Evans or something Heath Evans said. Especially when he said what many posters are saying here anyways. What a waste of time and internet bandwidth.

I really hope I never see the name Heath Evans on the main forum again.

Well, it all depends upon whether pressure is a negative or a positive. Me, myself... I man enough to admit that if you stand behind me while I'm under pressure, I'll fold (could've been a hell of No Hold'em player if not cuz of it). Now, when no one is watching and I'm under the gun, I am actually at my best. So it depends; how does Vontae react to pressure?

What the hell is up with Sean Smith? I saw a monster that first year- monster. I put this kid in the hall of fame. Honestly, with the ability he showed his first year and HIS SIZE, oh boy. I know you watch these guys like hawks. I'm so broken-hearted I can't bare it anymore. What are you seeing? Is it technique? What was so night and day from one season to the next?

Like this post a lot.

Ofcourse it's that way. I can call out my own mother but you do it see if I won't crack your skull or get killed trying. Did I just relate the Miami Dolphins to my mother- absolutely. The love a lot of us share for our team runs deeper than logic. It runs deeper than right and wrong. It can be as deep as family. For those of us, we are blocking along Jake Long every Sunday. We are surfing on a Wake. We are as hurtiing as Henne. We bleed with these guys. And if you really stop to think about it, we are friggin insane. These guys go home to a mansion after a loss. We go to bed literally sick to our stomachs, lucky if we do so under a stable roof. But it's about a pride in your tribe. And we are the Phin clan-so be it- our drums and our chants louder than the next.

I do not agree with you that this is a waste of a thread. No thread is a waste. This forum is our psychologist and it doesn't charge. And if you love the jungle (free forum), join VIP for a year. You thought you were a Dolphin fan until you see someone post a thesis on the mere relation of our offensive line stats to that of plays called. It's seriously something to be in awe of, to be proud of- pride in our tribe.
 
Cant wait for VD to get his first pick against brady week one, and then proceed to show the nation a Huge blank check with Evans name on it :D
