When fullback Heath Evans, who scored his first NFL touchdown against the Dolphins, walked off the field, he had this to say to Patriots linebacker Junior Seau

"Aren't you glad we are finally a part of this," Evans said.
Seau gladly agreed.

Both were let go by the Dolphins in recent years yet somehow found their way to New England. Seau came out of retirement for a chance to win a Super Bowl with the Patriots. Evans was picked up last year and is now the starting fullback. His 1-yard touchdown catch put the Patriots up 20-10 in the fourth quarter, and they held off the Dolphins from there.
What did Evans mean by the comment to Seau?
"For years you watch these games and you are puzzled at the end of games thinking 'How did they do that?'" Evans said. "Being here, I still don't know how we do it, but we just seem to get it done

"This is a special team, like none I've been around," Evans said.

I hate to see someone say something bad about my beloved fins but I congratulate them both on finding a team that they feel is a "special team". To be honest I don't miss neither of them and have no hard fealings towards them. I wish them a good season and hope that Seau can graduate again with no regrets. BUT they will regret saying that when they come down to Miami!! :)

I don't care what a 2nd rate fullback has to say about anything.
That second rate full back just scored against us yesterday. And his first game as a PAt against us he roasted the fins.

Oh noes a 2nd string FB and a 37 year old LBer like being on the Pats more than the Dolphins!

What are we going to do!?!?

He's held a grudge against us since we let him go. He also did not score, though they called it a TD. I can't believe no one saw or said anything, but he was juggling the football when he was in bounds, and didn't gain full possession until after being out of bounds. Anyone watch the game or have it taped, please take a look.

He's an idiot, big mouth, has been since he left. JS is a classy stand up guy.
Ones a hall of famer, the other will be out of football next year.

c'mon now he got both feet down, and if he gets pushed out it counts as a catch.

NE is not a special team. If we control our mistakes and limit the turnovers we controlled that "special team". If Olindo makes his first kick, we dont punt from the 36 (when Donnie droped the ball) we go the field goal. Our team was snake bit yesterday. Olindo has to score whe we need it. 3 points here and there make a difference, plus that shift in field position and momentum.

It's funny how a mediocre fullback who does very little feels a need to run his mouth. :shakeno: . Evans is an idiot.

Lose? Fail to make it to the playoffs? Scream about how a legit PI call lost you the game? Count the minutes till Ricky Williams can save the team?

Take your pick.

Just went back and watched it. He CLEARLY had total control of the ball as he was pushed out of bounds. Maybe what you saw was that he tucked the ball away as he was being pushed out of bounds, but he had total control.
