Sorry but i can't stand him more than you can't stand him. The guy just rubs you the wrong way especially for a former role player @best.
 
Can't stand him either...and I even forgot why I can't stand him...but I still can't stand him.

Last night they had Evans, Willie McGinnest and Matt Light all talking about the Patriots...like I want to hear 3 former Patriots gushing over how great their former team is...I turned it off.
 
So now we bad-mouth a guy saying something good about our team ?? I mean, any time a power ranking or article comes out that disses the Fins even if the basis of the diss is right, everyone is quick to point out how bad that sportscaster/journalist/site/etc is and now someone says some good things about what we've done to improve the team and everyone is beating up on the author...


For the record, I'm not much of a Heath Evans fan as a analyst either and Jamie Dukes is even worse, but he did say something good about something we've done...I just hope they turn out to be right...
 
He rarely has anything nice to say about the Phins.. I think he has a personal axe to grind...just another post-concussive talking mouth.

He's not my cup of tea so I take his opinions with a grain of salt whether good or bad. However, for him to obviously begrudgingly give props to a daring Fins draft decision, as much as it no doubt pained him to do so, as someone who's caught passes from Brees and Brady he must really see something similar in T-Hill. Of course that and a token will get you on the NY subway system. :idk:

Right, but a lot of times posters get bashed for hating on "analyst" or "writer" when they say bad things and then praise them for saying positive things. I think this is just a case of the OP saying, "this is what he said, but I still can't stand the guy".

Exactly! I dislike Evens as well. Most, if not all, of us do. But the guy says something positive about the Miami Dolphins and you'd think the guy said something BAD about Dan Marino. Geez. You just can't make some people happy.

Heath Evans is like that a-hole guy at work that everyone hates, but you just have to put up with him. He always has that smirk on his face and acts like he knows everything.

I saw that this morning and it ruined my breakfast. Matt Light is my least favorite of that turd trio.

As far as Heath goes, it sounds like people are calling 'em like they see him. We shouldn't like him just because he throws us a bone and says something nice for once. If the devil complimented the Dolphins I'd still not like the devil.

I am shocked Tedi Bruschi wasn't there to give his two cents......ESPN is nothing but Patriot, Red Sox and Yankee homers these days.
