Now that the Browns have cleaned house they have already expressed interest. Also Coughlin quiet on his future....... More teams to follow. Why is our position anymore attractive????:err:

Every position in the history of the NFL is more attractive than the Browns.

Did you not see what is going on there right now? Johnny Football literally went AWOL and then sent them a note saying "Trade me to Dallas, I'm not showing up here again." They fired their GM and head coach again and Jimmy Haslam just named his lawyer the new head of football operations over there. The person who will be conducting the head coaching interviews with Haslam is... his wife.

That team's not even a dumpster fire anymore. I'm not sure there is a phrase that adequately conveys what a mess they have there in Cleveland. It's unprecedented.

Please, Gase, go to Cleveland.

Your sure that's not a soap opera?

FH "experts" know Gase from his 2 youtube videos and they can tell he is the next Philbin

meanwhile people actually in the industry are hot for him, what fools are they

The only sure fire better job would be in New York...all the rest have issues like the Phins...(obviously)...we do have an owner who has no problem spending his money.

If there is one franchise less attractive than Miami it's the damn Browns.

People in the "industry" were hot for Cam Cameron at one time.

I don't even want Gase here for an interview. He hasn't done anything.

Philbin was a "hot" coordinator also. So was Cam Cameron. Saban was a "hot" college coach. Just because some coaches are considered "hot" candidates does not mean anything.

but only one moronic team made him an offer. my point is let's stop pretending to know the guy

I didn't know Joe Philbin was a guy who couldn't work with players before he was hired

It's not about pretending to know the guy, it's about knowing what type of experience we want in the next head coach. I don't want the next "hot" coordinator with absolutely no head coaching experience, who has to learn on the job. Sorry, we've tried that before and it hasn't worked.

"we've tried" the problem is us not coordinators. Ron Rivera, Bruce Arians, Mike Zimmer, Todd Bowles, John Fox, Tom Coughlin, Mike Tomlin, John Harbaugh, Mike Mccarthy?

did they fail? aren't they all former coordinators who have had success?

There are successful coordinators turned head coach.I get tired of retreaded coaches.

There's a lot of differing experience here in this list. Rivera, Bowles, and Fox played in he NFL. Bruce Arians was a head coach at Temple and also for a season as interim for the Colts. Coughlin was also at head coach at two colleges before becoming the coach of the Jaguars.

So you really have McCarthy, Zimmer, Harbaugh, and Tomlin on this list who would be comparable to Gase.
