I watch allen very closely especially when they throw to his guy.

Vs Royal he was STEP BY STEP TOE TO TOE with him and b/c of that AND b/c of his HEIGHT they had ot throw the ball high which ended up going out of bounds due to this.

Then VS marshall on that "int" play he was once again step by step and looked back to make a play on teh ball when he saw MARSHALL look up (which means the ball is ocming) something surtain and madison did well and allen did so himself and even said so in an interview and wa sin position to at least deflect it but marshall pushed him off.

He does a GREAT job at jamming the WR especially the big guys which is great.

Also like i said before, He is always in teh right place at the right time to make a play via tackle deflection or INT and it happened again today for his INT. some people just have that and he sure as heck does. he can be a very good 3rd back if not a starter.

BTW, CULVER is very good in coverage and needs some props, again in 2 weeks made another great play consistently. and bell still can't catch lolll.

i agree, lol@ the bell part, with that said, that picture of him looking at allen make the INT last week makes me want to re caption it from "you caught one" to "what can i do to be like you" LOl

'Bout d*** time for Allen to show. I glad for him and us, now maybe we have a partial answer for the 'big' receiver.

Is it his fault or three different coaching staffs for not utilizing him properly, or at all is some cases? He seems to be finding his niche as a corner and I don't think he played that poorly as a safety. If nothing else he was a turnover machine last year.

The secondary has gotten alot better. This team needs to find how to run the ball again and other guys beside Joey need to come up with a sack. Granted Denver Pass protection is awesome.

Jason Allen, he is talented..He hardly gets the chance, but we are in for a real big surprise with our secondary..I think these guys are starting to gel..and having yeremiah out their kinda makes the picture look better...no doubt we still go cb in the draft but our problems are becoming less aparent as the teams level of play gets better

CB is a need either way draft AND FA along iwth a S.

HOWEVER the problem is even this coachign staff dindt put Allen in until injuries piled up. I dont udnerstand why all 3 regimes have done this. MAYBE he sucks in practice but he is a sure gamer. So just leave him out i dont see whats going on here. I bet next year same thing happens somehow manages to be in the dog house again. its sad.

btw, What has BP or sparano or ireland done with goodman? where is the REAL goodman? the I cant break up a pass, stick to a WR, and cause at least one PI call a game goodman gone? this cant be goodman...can it?

I got the impression (mainly from the interenet) that the phins secondary was terrible. From what I saw today, The Allens looked okay; the lights are starting to come on for Jason. Will is a solid #2. Goodman has his highs and lows but is a decent CB at best.

Kickoff & punt coverage need work. Carpenter is phenomenal; Feeley & Olindo who?

Does anyone else notice the irony of J Allen & Ronnie getting better and better w/ Saban gone?

I mean I don't necessarily think its because SAban is gone . . . . it comes with experience . . . and solid coaching. Ronnie is better because we have addressed the line, something we haven't done since Marino. Allen, I have always said that the kid, everytime he plays . . . is AROUND the ball, and doesn't make many mistakes . . . and he has played some solid CB . . . and he was step for step with Brandon Marshall before the push off . . . which yea it wasn't a big push off, but it definitely aided in the TD, which is why it was called back. For the coaching staff to have that kind of confidence to put Allen on Marshall in man coverage says big things to me. He must really be lighting it up in practice. . . FINALLY. We may have our CB of the future already on the team.

I would replace Renaldo Hill before thinking CB.
Jason Allen was shutting down # 1 and # 2 receivers from Denver who torched several teams earlier in the season..
I think Allen can definitely be a starter in this league..

Props to Jason Allen:

1. Covered very well decent physical receivers.
2. INT
3. Solid Tackler
4. Has good awareness about him

Hopefully this is a start to something good.

We do need to replace Hill at safety - no way Royal should have caught that ball in the endzone.
