Heerspink released from practice squad, Atchison signed

At Sparano's press conference on miamidolphins.com, he just said we released OT Daren Heerspink from the practice squad and signed William & Mary Tight End/H-Back Andrew Atchison to the practice squad. Atchison was an undrafted free agent who measured 6'5 1/2" 246 pounds and ran a 4.7 in the 40 at the combine.

I checked my list of the 3,000 guys I would much rather throw to in the redzone than Ted Ginn and Achison is #1844

i actually have a scouting grade on this guy. Mustve seen him in one of the all star games. I gave him a backup grade. Good pickup. has the body you want

What about LT Jon Scott? This guy was the longhorns LT 2 seasons ago and was projected to be a 1st rounder.I saw the lions cut him but not sure if hes still available.

Atchison was ranked the 15th TE in this years draft by Pro Football Weekly. He apparently has his weight up to 255 now and is 6'5 1/2". He runs a 4.7 in the 40. He definitely has skills worth developing.
