the downfall of this franchise really started with bad drafting by don shula, but once JJ came aboard and tried to fit Dan into his system instead of running with dan's strengths, was truely the beginning of our woes. followed by elevating Dave to head coach...

Yes, sticking with Olividotti so long was almost as bad as starting Columbo at RT all year. However, it was Wayne that replaced Don with Jimmy and subsequently sold the team to Ross. Wayne made bad choices and then pannicked and bailed when he couldn't hire his way out of it.
