I was just watching the Nick Saban Radio Show and there was a question from the audience about how we could get out of the gate quicker next year... And he responded with it takes continuity of players playing together for more than 1 year... He used the example that of the best teams out there, the consistant element is that they have 10 of 11 starters come back each year on both sides of the ball... Now I didn't quote him because I don't remember the exact words but the message is the same! THIS IS GREAT news for us gang!!! Sounds like we will keep most of what we have!!!:goof:

And, hopefully we'll have the same OC?

:D

Continuity after all.

The turbulence here is Nicks Fault. I think he's a GREAT coach, but, turbulecne within the organization is his fault.

That is how it should be. Keep this same group playing together, with of course a free agent/rookie here and there.

It also means Joey Harrington should be the starting quarterback going into next season.

Sounds like people better start getting used to the idea of Joey Harrington being our starting QB.

Fair enough.

ever think the reason we didnt do that last 2 years is B/C he was looking for players that fit his schemes and that are YOUNGER/faster/tackle etc etc?

u guys just dont have patience to realize the purpose behind all taht he does.

watching a radio show...how is that even possible?

so what will his excuse be next year???

I HOPE THAT THIS doesnt mean we will forfeit all our draft picks and wait until wess and chris is 60 years old before we draft offense?:boohoo:

Fins homepage!!! The radio show is also streamed in video on the FINS homepage.

Believe it or not last year we didnt have the players to win. We were a 5-11 team that finished 9-7 due to the easiest stretch of games on any teams schedule

This year we made much needed changes and now we actually compete every game. Next year I expect to return most of the same team with a few key additions

I'm interested in your theory.
What exactly do you mean when saying "turbulence within the organization" that is Nick's fault.

Those are my thoughts completely.
You have to build something first before you can maintain it.

Fin...moon, nice post by the way.
