I know our defense was on the field pretty much the entire 3rd quarter, but jesus, they were winded the entire 2nd half. Are we professionals? Come on!

It's been like that most of the season. They found a way tonight, though.

The Bengals ran almost 100 plays tonight. We barely had any rest after the Patriots game on Sunday. Come on there's not a defense in the league who wouldn't be exhausted in this game.

the thing that concerns me most about this game is our inability to not be able to pick up a 2nd and 3rd and 1 ever,

it has become a too familiar trend. not just tonight, but vs the saints, ravens, every game i feel.

we won and we r all happy, and we should ****ing be, but for future games, if we want to make a push, that is essential being able to pick up these short yardage plays.

Are you joking??? Our defense was on the field for 90 snaps!!!

Average team runs around 64 plays a game.

High powered offenses like the Broncos average 72.6 plays per game.

Our D had to deal with 26 more plays than normal. That's roughly like playing 1/3 of an extra game.

Not to mention that the Bengals offense had the ball for 40:02, compared to our offense who possessed the ball for 28:20. That's an extra 12 minutes that our D had to step up and perform.

40 minutes of playing time for a defense in a game is brutal.

What did you expect, these guys not to be sweating???

Awesome game, recorded it on the dvdr will re watch it sunday like it didn't happen.

on another note, this team needs to work on their 3rd and inches. just run it up the middle or qb sneak it…tired of these zone outside runs with inches to go.

Why can't anybody take my posts for what they are? Constructive criticism. I GET IT. I KNOW IT WAS A SHORT WEEK. WE WERE ON THE FIELD THE ENTIRE THIRD QUARTER. I SAID THAT IN THE ORIGINAL POST. The point here is that you have to be ready for quarters like that and we aren't. It's a fact, not an opinion.

- Grimes almost ran out of gas on the return of that int

- Our run defense which was unreal in the 1st half disappeared

- Missed tackles left and right in the second half(did you not see the Bernard run?)

This is because we were tired. This was a home game on a warm night! Cincy should be the ones who are tired, not us! Come on! They need to step it up! If you want to win consistently as an organization this is key. We need to learn how to put teams away and this is part of doing that.

It is something that needs to be addressed. That was my point.

Cincy had the ball for 12 minutes more than Miami. I'd say that's your reasoning. The Dolphins offense didn't step on the field for most of if not ALL of the 3rd quarter.

Your point isn't valid because every team in the league would be gassed with 2 games in 4 days and the other team with almost 100 offensive plays. That's why people aren't taking it as constructive criticism because there isn't a team in the league who can be conditioned for this amount of football in 4 days.

They were on the field the entire 3rd quarter. Obviously they were exhausted but I thought they showed a lot of resolve
