Hello I am an Anti Jay Feilder fan

I admire Jay, but I say keep him where he is. We need to see what we bought with AJ for longer than just 10 quarters, and it's pretty apparent that now is just the type of dead time to go ahead and do that in...

No way man. A.J. Feeley's growing pains should not be at the expense of our entire season. If we wanted to see what he had, we should of waited until we were something like 3-7. Then he could the last 6 games to throw the ball to the opponent all day wrong. If Fiedler is not starting next Sunday, I will be sick to my stomach!!

What is the difference between 0-3 and 3-7? The fork has been stuck, and the grillmaster has declared us ready to eat.

I think AJ Feeley will end up being a mistake ala Rob Johnson, I like Jay but is it me or every Dolfan loves to hate Jay when he's in but as soon as he's out they want him back in

You can NOT possibly evaluate Feeley in the short time he has played this year, there are MANY factors that could be the cause of what we are seeing. We already KNOW that the offense has had almost NO time together, we KNOW that Dumbstache is a moron, we KNOW that we are inexperienced in the offense coaching area...

We would be 0-3 with Ears playing this season also, as he would not be able to do anything with this trainwreck called a team either...

For what it's worth,I have said all along that AJ is just another Sage, and that I would rather have EITHER of them over Jay, but that would require coaching and play-calling ! ! !

just bare with me jj. fiedler's career record is roughly 2 wins for every loss. so it is possible that with him starting we could get back to .500 by game 12 (not probably considering everything else, but still possible). 9-7 might be a wild card this year, as i expect the pats and colts to run through the league with b/w 14-2 and 12-4 records and everyone else will be bunched together. we have three division games coming up and aj has no experience with these teams (his experience with the eagles was when they pretty much had the division wrapped up) and we could be looking 0-6 square in the face. i think dave (if he still has the authority) to get jay in there for his experience, and jay has a 21-9 record in the division. these are 3 pivotal weeks coming up, and miami is still in ok shape if they come out of it 2-1. who would you rather go to battle with?

thing is feeley makes rookie mistakes withought being a rookie.. runing like 5 yrds over the line of scrimage and then throwing it? Throwing it to try and make something happen?

Phishstix,

I simply cannot share that optimism. We saw Jay struggle against the Titans. It's clear that this O is not in the sort of shape it was in when he led us to that sort of win %. We had a semblance of a running game all four years, but we don't have that now.

Also, I find it quite unlikely that 9-7 will get anybody into the playoffs this year. We'll see, though...

Why go 8-8 and have a mid round first pick when you can go 4-12 and have a top three pick? I mean seriously we probably need a record like that just to insure the 'Stashe won't be back next season.

You are aware that I suggested we KEEP PLAYING AJ, right? What is your quarrel with me?

I just got finished saying we couldn't have expected a .667 sort of win % from Jay, but I strongly believe that one of the past two games would probably have been wins if Jay had stayed in. I don't know that 1-2 is much better than 0-3, of course...

What do you possibly find so objectionable about Jay? It's clear he has covered for a weak OL and has given his all to this team full of fans who do nothing but hate him. I don't get your stance at all...

but for the love of god put the man back in..

Yes, I agree, with his lack of durability and this crappy O-line lets put Jay back in and let him take some of this punishment.

All the better to finish the Wannstedt era with his own crappy selection for a quarterback the last 5 years.

Obviously Jays 2 pic, QB rating of 8 half against Tennessee wasn't enough to show the huggers that Jay will never win anything that matters.

No offense, but where not 0-3 with Fiedler in there, I don't care what anyone thinks!
Yeah, we would have been, except Jay would have already been knocked out for the season with a hip contusion. Dan Marino, in his prime would be 0-3 behind this line.
