I have a question in regards to Nov.6 Falcons-Fins Game. I live in NJ and am flying down that morning 11/6 and am not gonna be able to make the trex to miami to watch game. My Parents live in englewood Fla. and have 2 FOX channels (FOX Tampa and FOX cape coral) on there cable down there. The Bucs play the panthers (a FOX game at 1PM and the Fins play the falcons at 1pm a Fox Game) My Question is -- I no the FOX channel in tampa will air the BUCs game but will FOX channel WFTX cape coral air the Fins game? I no its kinda early to ask but was wondering if anyone Knows the tendencys when this happens down there.. if not Does anyone no a good sports bar around englewood to watch my beloved Fins? Thanks for your time..

i just checked tvguide.com and it looks like it should be on the cbs affiliate there. if they fall under port charlotte, which they do according to the zip code, you will be good to go. i am in sarasota, only 20 minutes north, and we will only be getting the bucs at that time.

if you're bored, we hang out at monk's steamer bar in sarasota to check out the fins. best oysters and shrimp that i've found, and lots of jets fans to make fun of!

just to let you know, I don't live in that area, but my brother-in-law has a regular non-cable HD receiver. And the point is that he has an amplifier on it and he can catch multiple broadcasts of fox or cbs. The picture wasn't the greatest, but instead of having the regular one or two games going on, we had like 4. And this is all in regular t.v. I don't know if that's an option for you, but I wanted you to know what we do

That's a tough one... I used to live in Cape Coral a few years back, and should that game not be a sell out, it would be blacked out, since CC is within the black out zone. Englewood is outside that zone, but you wouldn't see it on a CC station. My guess is it will sell out though.

Also I looked at tv guide for CC and this weekend Fox has the Bucs, while WINK has the Fins. I think Englewood gets both channels, but not sure. Plus it depends on who has the rights for the Falcons game.

To be safe, I would do an internet search for a Sports Bar in or around Englewood and use that as a plan 'B' if you can't watch from home.

Englewood is all old people. Especially if they live on the beach. You could TRY going to the beach..I know there are some bars there, but not sure if they will have the game. There is a pool hall (I think) not to far from the beach..just ask around. If anything make the drive into the Cape or something.

Hate to correct you dolphreak, but the game is in Buffalo, so no one down here has to worry about a blackout this weekend

Um, he was talking about the Falcons Game... And I don't mind correcting you at all ;)

ok....now that we have that cleared up...i have a question about direct tv for that game...on the nfl.com's website they have the whole seasons schedule for all teams....they also list the channel(number) that each game will be telivised for direct tv...for the fins vs. falcons game they do not list a channel(#)...whats up with that?...i'm new to direct tv so ....i don't get it
