I have got a line on cheap airfare on a direct flight but can't get my travel agent. Flight is Calgary to Ft. Lauderdale.


How far is it from Ft. Lauderdale to Miami. I'm staying on Collins ave near the broad causeway. Would I take A1A and how far and how long will it take. What is the drive like in the pm we land at about 8.

Am I better to take the milk run to MIA.

I heard it's only a 30 minute to an hour drive to Miami from there. Not sure how you would get there though.

dude id like to help u but i think that calgary to miami is like 4 to 5 hours and Miami to lauderdale by car is not far its like 20 30 mins that i know for sure

I have skied Banff, Lake Louise and Jasper a few times up by Calgary and LOVE that area. Alberta is one gorgeous place.

Ft Lauderdale to Miami is about 25-30 minutes, with the staduim about half way in between.

It's real close, especially on the highway. Depending on where you're going from FTL airport, it might be a half hour or less.

You can see downtown Miami from the plane landing in Ft. Lauderdale on a clear day. I saw it myself yesterday.

Frankly you should leave Calgary as soon as possible.

Fort Lauderdale Airport to that area (Collins Ave.) is no more then 20-30 minutes depending on traffic.

Miami Int'l is about the same distance from your hotel, so it wouldnt be much of an advantage.
