I read a news article on Finheaven about that Saban influencing BBs draft policies and procedures. I don't recall the link. Have you tried Googling in order to find it?
I am sure ths article was posted here sometime in the past, but it gives a pretty good read on the BB and Saban history together. BB makes the statement "he has learned more from Saban than Saban has learned from him"...not sure that equtes to draft knowledge though. I would say that drafting edge would go to BB considering his time in the league in comparison to Sabans. They both tutored under BB's dad, so it is eassy to see where the philosophies would be akin.
In all fairness though, and just to twist the relationship they share, here is another article with BB and Sabans interview. During Sabans interview he states "He's still a mentor of mine that I've learned a tremendous amount from and have a tremendous amount of respect for being maybe the best coach I ever worked for and learned the most from".
