Now that this season's in the record books (literally), it's time for the guys, like most everyone else, to establish some goals to make 09 even more noteworthy. (Of course, like my own, which I rarely end up keeping), it's not unusual for any of them to have more than 1 resolution.)
I'll kick it off with a couple:
MIAMI DOLPHINS 2009 NEW YEARS RESOLUTIONS
Jake Long – I will work to improve my pass blocking making whatever training sacrifices necessary to make WV forget Matt Ryan
Joey Porter – I resolve to try to think more before I speak
Dan Carpenter – I will work on leg strength in order to add at least 5 yds to my kick offs
Teddy Ginn – I will practice, practice, practice running more precise routes
Ricky Williams – I resolve that any time the urge to smoke some ganja gets too strong, I will overcome it through the calming effects of aroma therapy and plugging into my biorhythmic cycle
Justin Smiley – I will return even better than ever and do more than my fair share in making our OL a league top 10 unit.
Andre Goodman – I resolve to rouse myself out of summer hibernation by game 1 this upcoming season
Jeff Ireland – I resolve to take my best shot at signing Haynesworth without being ridiculous about it
Jason Allen – I resolve to do an impactful imitation of Lazarus next season
Stephen Ross – My resolution is to let the professionals do their thing without interference.
Fins Cheerleaders – We resolve to exercise a little more will-power next season in keeping our hands and lips off Vaark
