Just a piece on the Phins helping out in the community
ESTERO - The Miami Dolphins want to spread its fan base to this side of the state while helping children learn football and grow as a person at the same time. The team has been visiting schools and holding clinics this week throughout Southwest Florida.
Estero youngsters got a chance to practice with the pros Wednesday.
"The lessons you learn on the field can be taken off the field. So we want to push the message of positivity," said Troy Drayton, former tight end for the Miami Dolphins.
"I go to any football camp I can send my son to because he's really into it," said parent Brian Wingo.
Kids ages six through 14 learned what it meant to be "dol-fit" from former Miami Dolphins linebacker Twan Russel, as well as Drayton
"Being dol-fit means you are educated, physically fit and that you make positive choices," Drayton told the kids.
The Dolphins use the youth camp to help kids better themselves at the game.

Good, maybe I'll start seeing more Dolphin gear in the future compared to NE, NY, Tampa. Of course you can't miss the Pittsburgh Steelers bar, Vikings bar, or of course an Patriots bar here (fan clubs, whatever they are). My point is I've never seen a "Dolphins Fan Club/Bar" supported area..that's all. Well, maybe Hooters I guess.

I live like 10 minutes from Estero ;\
