Henderson, who played for 25 seasons and nine teams (including four separate stints with the Oakland A's), was elected to the Hall of Fame Monday in his first year of eligibility. Henderson will be joined in the Class of 2009 by former Boston Red Sox slugger Jim Rice, who was elected in his 15th and final year of eligibility.
