Surprisingly (after I finished my fantasy draft a little bit ago) I was rumaging through the
NFL site to find that CHAD HENNE and MATT MOORE are the 4th and 5th leaders in passing
yards this preseason!!!! Normally I don't think much of the Preseason but to Have the starting
QB and the backup be the number 4 and 5 spot out of 32 different teams is quite impressive.

Also Henne has around a 93 QB rating and Moore is around a 96, Daboll is quitely making an
impressive squad on the offensive, now that he got himself out of Cleveland this young coordinator
just might have the talent he needs to be a wrecking ball for opposing defensives...

Idk but stay optimistic FinFans!!! Could be an exciting year

EDIT:
Figured I'd add more since I added to the research.
Matt Ryan, Flacco, Eli, McCoy, Dalton, Freemen are starters who added more attempts per game than Henne (Philip Rivers threw just as many per game average as Henne) in all 20 more players did than Henne

34 more did than Moore, Including starters Cutler and Sanchez
This Stat looks a little more sexy by the minute

OH and how can I forget, TOM BRADY had more attempts per game than both of them as well

I think a few reasons this happened
one reason is other teams played 3rd and 4th strings more
we mostly got a full dose of moore and henne and they both performed above average in preseason..
It also helps to have 2 great pass catching running backs..Marshall is playing at a high level..

i think why the dolphins staff did this
was they wanted the top 2 guys to get the new offense installed and have cohesion.
It made sense to approach preseason this way
even though i was griping to see more of devlin to see if he was for real or not.

Yeah...I wanted to see more Devlin too :/ but we really needed the Preseason for our team. Even though...the Dolphins aren't the only one implementing a new system or new guys Lol

really? but henne didt play at all vs. dallas. which would explain why moore is up there.

Reality is that the stupid players union made this whole wait situation stupid in the end. It affected the whole offseason and how things go down. So you didnt see alot of 3rd and 4th stringers. cmon dude, common sense a little?

Not so fast some teams know what they have at qb
and don't need to give them additional reps..
What idiot would play a top 5 quarterback for most of the preseason
so he can get injured b4 the season starts?
It didn't help that the dolphins run game was missing half the preseason
and we were forced to pass more..
Maybe somebody needs to look in the common sense mirror..

And to add onto that...MATT RYAN had an average of 7 more attempts than Henne and 9 more attempts a game than Moore
Flacco also had more attempts a game as well

Chad Henne tied for the amount of attempts per game as Philip Rivers, and had less than 20 other QBs including Freemen, McCoy, Dalton, Manning
(Already Listed Flacco and Ryan)

And Matt Moore was behind 34 other guys in Attempts per game (including Sanchez, and Cutler)

Don't belittle this stat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good for now though means nothing till when the real bullets start flying
in real games that count

Haven't heard that one before :p Be excited for our good "Scrimmage" practice vs. the rest of the NFL in comparison

Tom Brady played into the second quarter against the Giants during the final preseason game

Henne's numbers are blown up a little primarily because of two HUGE passing plays.

Not saying its not a good thing, cause it absolutely IS, just saying, that with so few attempts, things are a little skewed IMO.

Still excited that Henne is going long more often. ANYTHING beats the BS we witnessed last year... :pity:

Belicheat is still mad at the giants for stopping the patriots perfect season in the Superbowl

Billicheat is still pissed that his good friend Rog took his video camera away.......

Moore had a couple of long passes too. When did that become a bad thing? The league leaders always have lots of chunk plays.

Not necessarily a bad thing. Glad its our guys getting those long plays.....for a change, I just don't think it will hold up once the season starts....but one can always hope.
If nothing else, it shows that Dabol is willing to open things up a bit, at least in Pre-season.

Would we have felt better if our 2 QB's were at the bottom of the list ?

Definitly a good and MUCH needed sign.

Now do it when it counts boys.
