Fans that were in the crowd are saying the chant for Orton was MAYBE 20 people total.. while some fans say they never heard it at all. The media is blowing it up as usual. Nice.. Not a total defense of Henne, just pointing out how badly the media gives the wrong impressions, and whats worse is our fans take it all and run with it.

Regardless, those 20 fans should be ashamed for booing their own player. If the whole season is riding on Henne's success, why would people kick him while he's down?

While he's trying to be a leader, learn the playbook, and do everything possible to be successful nonetheless.

Good to get some information from someone who is more credible than Salguero/Omar and his cronies. It only shows their desire to create more controversy in this current situation.

I wish I didn't live so far away and had a chance to go to training camp. Our beat writers would really learn what it's like to boo someone for doing a ****ty job at their chosen profession.

If true, this is a great move by the South Florida media. Exaggerate the piss out of it and get more people rallying behind the benching of Chad Henne and the move to get Kyle Orton.

:hi5:

How about Henne just perform better... Give the fans a reason to cheer him, people are done coddling him, its time for results.. Be a leader ON the field.. I wasn't at the practice being that i'm military and in another state.. but he's on a short leash with everyone, and from what i've heard, the undrafted rookie Devlin out performed him... C'mon now..

Can we atleast give him until the 3rd preseason game tho? We are talking 3 days of practice . . . against a defense that is clearly destined for great things this year. Devilin gets the third stringers, Henne is going against the #1's.

now maybe the owner, gm and head coach will finally get the message to go get orton...we've seen enough of henne..

No he didn't scrimmige went really bad for Devlin!!!

Coddling - how about a QB who throws an INT to Sean Smith in a practice - the guy was planning to boo it was staged and it is lame to boo at a practice

No offense, but I was there. The boo birds what bad enough that me father-in-law who was with me and is an ex- Jai-alia player to me, I was athlete, I know what that is like and this is hard to watch and hear. He continued telling me how when fans do that it completely messes with your emotions. Media is not blowing up, they are reporting exactly what happen.

I don't think the boos were as much directed at Henne as they were at the organization for failing to bring in the adequate competition they promised.

Not defending the boos (that was disgusting), but instead saying that the anger that is unfairly going toward Henne should be reserved for a team that fails to properly address the most important position on the field.

I was out there. It started on several occasions. I knew before hand Henne was going to get booed and the chants of Orton would happen. First practice, with pads brand new offense against a top 5 defense while playing in little Havana, I didn't expect anything else from some ignorant fans.

At the professional level if people are booing you, DEAL WITH IT. Thats part of the game, how will it feel when 30,000 people are booing during a game situation? If you cant handle that you dont belong under center in the NFL.
