Henne can't

Typical post by a team member of the Basher Circle Jerk club. We have one preseason game where our 3 best offensive players don't play, he has an INT batted up in the air and a wrong pattern ran that contributed to another (2nd was still on him) and you guys sworm in like vultures. He has a good game, and all the BS starts coming out.

Also please stop comparing QB's against first and 3rd team defenses. It only points out your bias that much more.

This is where you show your naivety, we were not bashing Henne based solely on the Atlanta game, we base it on two years of that kind of play. It just so happens against a much better team than Carolina Henne once again looked like the guy he was the last two years. He a had a good half tonight, I'm glad he did and I hope he gets it together. But this is nothing to brag about in the big picture.....it proves nothing yet.

Ya, we are all sure you are pulling for Henne. Congrats on being 8 years older. That has about as much substance as the majority of your posts.

just accept that people hate on him.. he's isnt as bad as everyone says... he has grown, and he is a tough quarterback... he will never be a top 5 quarterback but, you dont need a top 5 to win a superbowl.. you need the best team...

oh, and to those who are complete haters on henne... these are same people that said beck will never be a starting qb in this league.. John Beck is a starter in this league... lmao

oh, and can i add that henne is by far better than matt moore.. lmao! the guy has played poorly against the WORST TEAM IN THE NFLs backups

For the Bashers, please read the post.....PLEASE!!!!!!! Yes, it is a preseason game, just like the one you bashed last week when he didn't have his 3 best players. I stated 4 things in my original post that was being said he couldn't do. He did so tonight, and looked comfortable doing so. That is all I am saying. He needs to play better, and missed a couple of deep shots. This offense is also still new and Sparano has stated that it won't even be fully installed by the Pats game.

It is promising to see this execution against a team that had a bad record, but a very respectable defense.

Wow if Henne would have fumbled like Moore did right there, he would be killed by you guys. He had a nice throw against the third string though.

For the love of Marino people look at the positives... Most, not all, of Hennes play looked some what improved. The fact he was aloud to audiable and it worked was very encouraging.

This is where you show your complete bashing nature and ignore what the poster (me in this case) is saying. Read the original post. 4 things that Henne did not do under Henning, he did tonight and he did in College. He does it again tonight, with Henning no where to be found. Do I really need to explain this?

1. Rodgers
2. Brees
3. Big Ben
4. E. Manning
5. P. Manning
6. Big Ben
7. Brady
8. Brady
9. B. Johnson
10. Brady
11. Dilfer
12. Warner
13. Elway
14. Elway

You can argue Dilfer wasn't great but he was better then Henne is.

Dude cannot hit the broad side of a barn... no deep ball accuracy and stares down his primary read on every snap.

Don't worry, he finally "gets it".... not

Well I can kind of agree with you one one thing- it's nice to see Henne execute against anyone. Last year, except for maybe one game, we didn't really do anything on offense no matter who we were playing. My biggest complaint last week, when people were saying that Moore's performance was just preseason against second stringers, was that we haven't seen Henne come out and execute repeatedly against anyone, preseason or not, for a long time.

So at least he did that, but Henne really was mostly throwing to open receivers and not making a lot of exceptional throws (besides that last drive throw to Fasano), so I think his stat line looks like he was doing a lot more than he really was when tonight wasn't an indicator that he could really do those things that impede him against good teams.

At least he didn't throw a killer interception.

I forgot, Matt Moore's deep ball that hit a receiver 40 yards downfield in stride doesn't count because it was against a second string defense. Nevermind that Henne tried several passes like that, once with the receiver completely wide open, and didn't come within 5 yards of his man.
Ya, this from the guy who won't give Henne props because it is a preseason game against their number ones. LMAO.

TBH if Henne plays that game 16 times this season, we make the playoffs garenteed! We have alot of talent on this team and we dont need the QB to take it on its back to win... We just need Henne to not F around...

Get real, I've said plenty of positive things about Henne, just because I'm not convinced that all of his farts smell like roses doesn't mean I'm delusional.
