QB position has got to be played with confidence - the confidence that IMHO was robbed from him - maybe Henne gets some mojo back

Get some perspective dude, it was nice too see Henne play decent for a half, but it will take consistency and good play against much better opponents than tonights to prove anything.

On the negative side he nearly threw a PIC 6, a good corner would have done it.

Let me remind you that the preseason emphasizes individual performance. It is reasonable to be excited about the pre snap reads, the audibles, and the mobility shown by Henne. Most of you do not want to consider the possibility that Henne improved his game.

i think the haters here are missing the point. Henne played mistake free football bc the field was WIDE OPEN. That's what happens when you have a burner in Gates, a possession stud like Bess, a beast at WR in Marshall, a decent, relable #2 in Hartline, a legit checkdown THREAT in Bush, and a pass catching stellar blocker like Fasano. The weapons we have now make it impossible to defend our time like in years past. We have a COMPLETE offense now, with a wide range of threats. Henne is setup to succeed, and unlike many people on this board, i hope that he does.

Ok, but let me remind you that just one week before he looked like the same QB we wanted to replace when he stunk it up against Atlanta. Its called consistency and he has NEVER shown any of it.

Good Lord some people have 0 common sense. Henne has proven to suck for years in games that actually count. Until he shows that he can be a good QB in real games than he still sucks and has proven nothing. If you disagree than you are wrong and don't understand football. Period

So all the good things he did prove nothing, but the bad things do count?

Yeah, that's balanced.

Probably cause he does the bad things more consistently than he does the good things. Yeah Henne was good against CAR but doing it once doesn't mean he's suddenly a good QB. Consistency is key.
