You have to admit it was pretty funny its a michigan thing ahhahaha :pop:

I guess Michigan coaches teach their teams that they get 4 timeouts.

While it is pretty embarrassing, most of us on this forum would be ****ting our pants if we had the job Henne does. He was probably nervous and doing his best. It is what it is. Give the guy a break.

have to admit....that was the second thing I thought of when that happened.....

first thing was "wtf"....lol

Be lucky you weren't at the game like I was. All the Pats fans laughing at me after he did that was tough to handle.

Didn't matter one way or the other. Delay of game was happening no matter what.

What I was wondering is why in the hell did Sparano burn all 3 time outs. You want to save at least one time out for this reason among others. Miami would have been much better served to let the time run down to the 2 minute warning and save all 3 timeouts b/c that way you can stop the clock if needed, call a timeout to avoid a penalty if needed and you don't want to leave Brady and the Patriots with that much time on the clock if you do tie it up with a TD.

This is the 3rd week in a row Sparano has made a poor coaching decision (and I like him as a coach, just not game management coach) by calling a time out against Saints when they were going for the field goal, going for 2 points when it was a situation for kicking the extra point and today burning all 3 time outs leaving 3 minutes on the clock...not sure where he comes up with his logic.

I dont question that as much as not going for it on 4th and 4 in NE territory.

Ya i was also at the game, pretty embarrassing but he is a rookie qb and did his part to make up for it by throwing a catchable pass to hartline and ginn

I liked the early timeouts because then you have a run threat too. But to kick it away on 4th & 4 was deflating to the team. There's no way you can spin it to your team as having faith in the defense but an obvious lack of faith in the offense.

I said to my friends does he think he is the white Chris Webber?

it no way compares to what sanchez did at the end of the game against us. he throws it out of the end zone on 4th down, he thought he would get another shot on 5th down.
