Hi everyone! Long time reader, first time poster. I have been a big Dolphin fan for almost 25 years now and this team has not had a true number 1 receiver since Irving Fryar (I never was that high on Chambers).
I know it is way too early, but if Chad Henne shows he can be a good QB for us and knowing he and Braylon Edwards had good chemistry in college, do you see Chad pushing the F.O. to sign him? Or will they once again ignore the position. I personally would like us to go after Vincent Jackson myself.

I want nothing to do with Braylon Edwards. The last thing we need is a diva who can't catch. At the very least, Ginn is humble about how much he sucks. Edwards thinks he's Randy Moss.

With all due respect, in defense of Edwards, he really doesn't have a QB and he put up huge numbers in 07 w/ Derek Anderson!?!?!?!?!?

Let's wait and see if the first guy Henne pushed for pans out before we assume the FO will trust more of his pushes.

Actually I believe Edwards will be a free agent this off season.

Haha, Braylon Edwards is like the 12th man for whatever defense he plays against. No wonder Steeler fans dont want him to leave Cleveland. He is a coward in traffic.

As far as Edwards being a diva, I can't speak much for him in the last couple years but I do know it was a huge problem at Michigan his junior year. He got in Carr's doghouse and spent some time on the bench. Carr rode him pretty hard and really turned him around. He became a lot more mature his senior year and grew up a lot to become a real leader on the team.

As far as his skill set, you can take it or leave it's all about your preference. Yes, he will drop some easy catches. Always has. But he is also one of the most talented guys in the league at grabbing a ball out of the air in traffic. It's not too common to see him drop the hard ones. It's the easy ones that make you want to strangle him.

Did you just say Braylon Edwards?? Ewwww hell no. We need to go 100% after Marshall. He is one of the best WRs in the league and the best by far that will be available through free agency.

V. Jackson is a stud. He's easily a top-10 WR at this point, and I might rate him top 5. There will be a serious bidding war for his services. I see him getting 8.5 per year (minimum).

What, the much touted Brady Quinn, the saviour from the 07 draft who we let slip through our fingers is NOT a QB who will put up huge numbers.

WOW. Just WOW......
