5 or less wins for the fins..Andrew luck is that special qb that is peyton manning and big as flacco mixed into a HOF...Im sorry if the jets lose there first 4 or 5..I want them to tank like the spurs did when they got duncan..

And if henne stinks this year..The fins have a good enough D-fense.That luck may win a bowl his first year,Thats scary as a jet fan..I can see it happening now..

Our defense is too good for use to lose more than 9 games with even a bad QB at the helm.

If Henne sucks it up, Moore is a more than capable backup. I do not see any way the Dolphins land Luck.

at the end of 2006 we had a better defense statistiscallyy than the one we have now top 5 in points and yards and we know how 2007 turned out so u can never say never.
Carolina, Dallas and Minny had top 10 defenses prior to last season and all lost more than 9 games this year.

True anything is possible, but that defense in 2006 was already old and got older.

This defense we have now is still very young and got another year of experience under their belt. I can't see them regressing very much.

well I dont think they collapsed because the defense got old . Injuries and an ineffective offense played much more into it. One injury and continued ineffective offense could lead to a chain reaction.
Talent doesnt always win games. Hell san Diego had the top rated offense and defense and still did not make playoffs. I think coaching is a much bigger issue with this team than any other factor. Not saying I think we will spiral down but there is no guarantee that if we lose a few games the snowball affect doesnt take over. we lost alot of games to lessser teams last year and towards the end it looks like Tony lost the team some. We have a personality on offense that if things go bad could make alot of bad impact on the offense.

Well our best DT was 38 when the season started, our best LB then begun his string of injuries that never went away, and there is no doubt we had one of the oldest defenses in the league.

We have a great DC and I think Sparano largely lets Nolan do what he wishes on defense.

Our defense played tough even after suffering many bad losses last year. They really rally around each other and will fight to keep us in games.

Even if Henne plays as bad as last year, I still cannot see us losing more than 7 games.

If he plays worse than last year, I can easily see Moore coming in and being decent.

I can't really envision a scenario where this team is as bad as the one we had in 2007 and us losing close to 15 games.

i cant see us losing 15 games but 12 is not out of realm of possibility. Smith has been an up and down cb and if we lose wake that puts more pressure on DBs. I see us as a .500 team once again . if moore comes in we are in bad shape and much worse off then if Henne plays

12 losses is not enough for the number 1 overall pick.

Nver said it was u said the defense was too good to lose 9 games. We also had a top level defense the year before Wanny was fired and we had a pretty bad damn year that year at 4-12 we had the second poick

Even with the possibility of many injuries, I still cannot see us losing close to 12. I think even if Henne struggles, 9 losses is where we finish around.

Even then, we still have plenty of talent on O where Moore would come in as a game manager.

Most of our young D is still on the upswing and 2007 kinda injury years don't happen often.

A bad D year could happen, but I cannot see it because our DL is so good and the depth is so deep. They drive this very good D and are the key to success.

we have no more talent on offense than Moore had with Carolina. Moore was so bad he fell behind a rookie that played horribly. Its no coincidence that Carolina did not bring him back

Yes people forget to talk about how well he played in the 3rd game against the Jest last season the only mistake was that interception to Brodney Poole on the last play.

I say yes, the reason, his first yr he played some good football, the Jets game at home stands out to me, how he led this team down the field late in the game by hitting critical 3rd and 4th down pinpoint passes and then watching Ronnie run the WC for a TD to win the game, the next game that stands out is the 1st Pats game at home last yr, this kid was killing the Pats D until he started turning the ball over and then the wheels came off.....I think Henne will be a good QB with the weapons he has around him, if he doesnt turn the ball over. From what i hear coming out of camp he is taking the next step of a young QB....

I disagree. Carolina has a tandem of excellent backs, but one was down most of the year and Steve Smith USED to be a big play maker, but not much since 2008.

I believe we have a better pass blocking OL. Gross is good, but not on Long status.

Moore's got potential. He suffered a concussion that first game last year and didn't play well following and was benched for Clausen, prematurely.

He came back after his benching and had a 300 yard passing game before he was placed on IR a couple of games later.

They didn't need him back because they invested the number 1 overall pick in Newton to be the guy.
