It's not like if Henne plays a lot better in his 3rd yr as a starter with a better OC it would be somehow unprecedented. He's a tough kid with a live arm nd I always liked him as a prospect. God I hope he lifts his play this year, I can't take any more of this Jets bull**** around here.
 
I have been hearing a lot of good feedback too, miamiherald just did an article about how henne has stepped up big time in the locker-room and off the field. Hey look the guy is not going to be peyton manning we all know that but if he can improve enough to where he limits hit INT's and makes smart decisions then this team will definitely compete, the defense will keep us in games no doubt about it, all I ask from henne is that he does not turn the ball over but at the same time get a little more aggressive and stretch the field, hopefully dabolls system is implementing that mentality and from everything I hear out of camp that seems to be the case. My one concern tho is that RT position, columbo has been getting smoked in camp so we need to solidify that right tackle spot so henne can get the protection he needs!
 
Don't get me wrong, I'm a Henne supporter not hater, but why are people becoming so forgiving after one good scrimmage? Again, I've been a Henne second-chancer this whole off-season so I'm not hating, just legitimately curious.

This is stupid because the Dolphins organization never had any interest in trading for Tebow.

I think it's basically a reaction to the negative mood around here after a couple of bad practices (which of course comes after a season of awful/great football by Henne, as usual). But I don't understand either attitude - it's just freaking practice. Let the offense take the field for a couple of (regular season) weeks, and then we'll have a better picture. So far, considering it's a whole new offense, both on scheme and personnel, *anything* that happens until the regular season is pretty fuzzy. And even then, with the utter lack of an offseason, it's going to be pretty hard to judge, one way or the other, until the whole season plays out.
 
Not to bring anyone down, but I know the media likes to sensationalize things. Everyone's picking up the story that Henne had a good scrimmage because it complements last week's story pretty well. I'm willing to guess that he really wasn't as good as he is being reported yesterday, but he really wasn't as bad as the boos indicated last week. He's somewhere in between, but it's only the first week of preseason so hopefully he only gets better.
 
It's not about forgiving but giving him the benefit of the doubt, last year dan henning's play-calling was horrible!! 3rd &12 play-action passes with nobody in the backfield and only one receiver running a route!! yes 3&12 play-action with nobody in the backfield, this happened several times, also there were games when henne was getting hot and all of a sudden we ran 3 straight wildcats plays, and yes some of it was henne's fault as well. And as of right now we really have no other choice but to support henne, we didn't get orton, we didnt get mcnabb, palmer, kolb, hasselback, so it's henne who we have to ride with this year, and matt moore is terrible so lets hope he doesn't beat out henne!
 
The only hate I bring is for BSPN, SoapOperaCenter and Twitter.
 
If the O-line is better and plays good I think Henne will be fine! That RT spot is an issue but people don't forgrt Long ain't practicing. He goes to LT and maybe Murtha moves to RT since he's been dominating at LT so far at camp

I believe that was a fan asking Mort if the phins are interested in trading for tebow, not the media assuming we are thinking about it.
