Henne has a Long way to go?

Talk about looking like an idiot, not only does he looks like he really really needs us to beleive Chad sucks, but on the first picture, Bess is 50-50 td-int.and on the second one, he's already looking down and running south. ''Look I've just shown you right before your eyes...'' Yes! you've just shown us that even though you've got a point, you still crash into stupidity because you look lost trying to prove it...

If Henne still has a long way to go, I'm not in the mood to invest more years into this guy. No excuses, this needs to be his breakout year.

I saw the Pics and read the article. Bess was fairly open, not sure if the CB's were trying to bait him. Hartline looked open. Henne misses lots of open receivers and it really frustrates them to run 40 and 50 yard sprints and not even get a look from Henne. I wish he'd see more open receivers and be able to make the throws.

Yes, he does. I am fine with this article. There is plenty of room for Henne to improve, but Mando gives him props for improvement. No problem.

Ofcourse he does. Only the most delusional of fans are buying the hype that Henne has "figured it out", or my favorite "no longer handcuffed by Henning"...The reality is if we're relying on Henne to run a proficient offense, we're looking at 7-9 again.

Only fans with closed minds do not recognize the improvements. The article makes a fair statement. Henne has improved, but there is room for significant improvements.

Wow.

You people are ridiculous. There are clearly things Henne needs to work on. Stop squirting vaginal fluids every time Henne gets criticized. He has improved but that doesn't mean he doesn't make mistakes. He is really having issues in the red zone. For all the yards he has thrown this preseason he has 1 TD.

I watched this play frame by frame several times. First of all, they rush 4, we keep 6 in to block. So, they have 7 guys to cover 4 receivers, in very limited space. Bess is not open. He had 3 defenders in his area. The only wAy to get the ball to Bess here is to throw a bullet low. To do this, you need a clear passing lane. And you can clearly see that the man Incognito is attempting to block has his hands up and is in the passing lane. Henne wants to go to Bess, but you can see him pull back when the defensive lineman puts his hand up. This is not a throw that can have any air under it, so Henne makes the right decision here. Then, the pocket breaks down, with both Murtha and Incognito losing their men. At this point, Henne is running for his life. And at that point, Hartline is not open. In fact, there are 4 defenders between Henne and Hartline. Then, Hartline breaksto the corner, and comes wide open. But, it's too late. Armando has made something out of nothing here.

There isn't a QB in the league that doesn't miss a open WR now and again. In happens in every game with every QB.
But its not what you miss that defines a QB's success or faliure. Its what he does when given the next opportunity to make a play. He throws a couple of TD's a game and no one is gonna care about a missing an open WR.

I was at the game and noticed that he missed the open receivers....this is a part of Henne's game that has always been lacking. It was a good performance but we really need him to make these plays that win games.
