Henne: He's up, he's down, he's up again

Probably because he does have more bad moments than good ones. I don't care of he's really good or really bad in practice. I don't care what Henne does anymore. That CLE game last season was the last straw. IF Henne does well this season, great. If he's his usual self again than Henne should be out of chances. How many times after every game he screws up do we have to hear him say "I got to make that throw"?

The sad thing is you make it seem like your completely new on this board,

Something similar to this is posted in EVERY thread, not some, but EVERY thread in this website...

how many times do you all have to repeat it? Its common sense that we would go for a quarterback next year if henne fails

but lets just keep on yapping the same thing over and over again until the season is over

How many times do we have to hear some of you guys claim how much he will suck this season before he even gets to play a game in this new offense?

I agree. If it doesn't happen for him this year then it's time to bring in someone else. Yes, I would have liked for the FO to bring in someone a little more legit than Matt Moore to develop so that in case Henne fails this year, we'll be that much more prepared next year. But Henne's the guy now. If you're just going to answer every positive report about Henne with "so what?", then what's the point in you even reading anything about Henne until the games start?

I for one is rooting for him cause if he gets hurt Miami is screwed. The point is these threads about Henne excelling at that or sucking at that are all blown out of proportioned. Every pass Henne makes in practice his put under a microscope. No one should be getting excited over anything Henne does nor should they be criticizing Henne until the passes matter. I just put down my opinion in my earlier post that every time I get my hopes up for Henne he seems to go backwards. So now I'm just going to be neutral with it and see what happens.

to me, this is an emotional reply. you said it that day. therefore it is so. whatever. enjoy the season crying.

So would it not be sufficient to be neutral about these reports by not replying? Though it's ridiculous that you try to claim any sort of neutrality when it comes to Henne, heh. It's just that the pointless negativity on this board and among Dolphins fans is suffocating.

Plus, no one is getting all that excited. I don't see anyone claiming that this offense will be high octane and is headed for the Super Bowl. People are just trying to find some progress. I don't know if the Henne-haters realize this, but EVERYBODY sees that Henne has not been good enough thus far. There really is no need to keep pointing out what he's done in the past over and over.

what is amazing to me is the stupidity of this fanbase. Everything that happened last year is all on henne. thats bs! This is a team of 45 guys. This team came apart from within starting with Henning. Parsells guy. Now those two are gone and I believe this was problem #1 based on what I saw on tape. Special teams is another. There is no way no how that someone cannot blame Henning first. This guy was rolling dice to tell which 3rd down play to run! I mean cmon people. The short term memory of the nega nilly finfans are just horrible in any kind of breakdown.

it doesnt matter, the rook came in and did something. that says something. and not all were 2nd/3rds.

My wife and i were at that game and she didn't notice the QB change all of sudden she sees this guy throwing was throwing lasers (same lame hook roots) she is like what happened to the QB? - and I said they replaced him and she is like this new guy he throws the ball twice as hard

ARZ had 2nd and 3rd stringers in by then.

Bull crap. Arizona did the one thing on the last drive that Henne seems to do well against...they blitzed. Arizona was trying to keep the Dolphins from scoring a touchdown and kept all their starters in. Dansby, Okeafor, Dockett, Wilson, Rogers-Cromartie, Berry all played on that final series.

Someone posted a video of that last drive by Henne a while ago and you can see all the blitzing the Cardinals were doing to try to stop the Dolphins offense.

well it seems l9ke theres 2 games against the jets henne did pretty well in. I think henne can bve a decent qb. I blame mr henning for most of the problems. Henning was calling play action on 3rd and 22. Everyone in the state knew we werent running. Henne has had excuses for three years. First hes a rookie. Then the running game took a dump. Then it was henning. This is the year i say throw the kid in and its sink or swim. Hes got some good weapons.
And just as a side note i don't see reggie being our every down back as advertised. The heavy lifting should be donald thomas job.
