I gotta tip my miami dolphin hat to Chad Henne. The guy impressed me this week. I must say I am starting to see some good things he is doing. I think he's looking more and more comfortable out there. This is going to be something serious if he remains like this...number 1 receiver or not. He showed some good foot work in the pocket and handled the ball well on some mis-handled snaps..He hits those darts on a straight line man. Its a blur sometimes I dont even know if the wr caught the ball. I like those sideline routes by the wrs. Very safe routes but hard to make the catch with both feet in bounds. Chad played impressive, He missed some easy ones but that happens from time to time. I still say he needs to work more on his touch pass and he doesnt have to beem the ball in on sure catches. The key is to give the wr a catchable ball. Why make it more difficult by throwing it so hard when theres no traffic.

If the o-line blocks for this guy like they have been, our wrs will start to look better. might cut down from drafting 2 wrs and just draft one if we produce more in the receiving game.

Wow. How much difference can a week make? I seem to recall the "Let's dump Chad Henne in the Everglades and roll the dice with Pat White" thread recently.

I repeat. Chad Henne was impressive. Im talking about against the patriots.

I agree he was impressive, but he was missing some extremely wide open receivers out there. Dude needs to settle down on those.

I think he looked really good out there Sunday. I like his poise in the pocket especially when the blitz is on. Makes good decisions most of the time.

His potential would be the sky if we brought in a #1 WR. Not only would it make Chad look better but would also help Teddy out. Ted is a slow guy mentally, you have seen his interviews on Aquavision. Maybe he blossoms in 4 years instead of three. The guy does seem to be behind the eight ball alot. But enought about Ginn.

Overall I love the effort out there this past weekend by the whole team. I am eating crow, seriously thought that I would see another meltdown.

LOL @ "in the everglades". You didn't really say that did you Naps?...That's cold  Henne is coming along nicely in my opinion.

He has looked impressive every game this season. He had an awful game against Buffalo but with a yound QB, there's more than just numbers to look at. And so many of you were blinded by four interceptions. This guy is a leader and a winner. Get on board now.

I was on board after the Jets game. Go Henne!!!

He needs to work on his touch which is correctable. The TD he threw to Hartline was perfect. Just enough to get over the CB but not so hard it got over Hartline.

His improvement each week signals great things for the future.

He played really well against Buffalo except the last three minutes where he got hit while throwing on one pick, I can't chalk that up to a terrible game. He has yet to have a terrible game, he has had some bad plays but not a entire game.

nope I never said that. That statement of his was a complete exaggeration. I expect back lash though.

:rolleyes2:....what do you have next week for us?

I like Henne very much, although is it me or does he make a subtle pump everytime he throws? Kinda gets on my nerve but if it's effective it's ok with me.
