henne in the capital bowl..what a game.

Very surprising actually,

I watched this game and liked what i saw out of Chad Henne. Until then, in my eyes, he was just another average Big 10 QB who could never win a big game (not named Tom Brady that is). Then he played a very solid and exciting game against the Gators, who i believed would continue Michigan's bowl awfulness. Sent Lloyd Carr out on a high note and the Wolverine program spiraling into disaster!

Makes me feel pretty good about the future of Miami's QB.

Thanks for the post.

someone was asking "how do we know henne has a strong arm"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xFIAoIPSKek

well thats how lolll

What a game he had and wow what an arm he has!

What makes me so excited about our future with Henne is that Mike Mayock knows QBs. He successfully predicted Matt Ryan to be the franchise QB of this draft. He was hit on for that....well,

Mayock also stated that Chad Henne was the 2nd best QB in the whole draft, even better than Flacco. He was criticized for that as well.

Mike Mayock was a Jay Cutler guy too. Cutler does look very NFL QB as well. In fact, Mayock considered Cutler better than Leinhart, when everyone was on Leinhart's jock.

Mike Mayock knows QBs. And if he was the ONLY one saying that Ryan was a franchise QB and Henne is the second best QB with the BEST ARM in the draft...I believe him.

Most draft guys had Henne as a 2nd round QB. Though, Mayock also correctly predicted Henne a 2nd round QB, he felt that he was the 2nd best QB even though he knew that Flacco was going to be drafted higher.

So that has me really pumped about Henne taking over the offense in 2010.

That would be the LOSER of a coach Rich Rodriguez that ruined the Michigan program.

If Henne had come out a yr early he may have been a top 10 pick. Eerily similar to Marino.
People were raving about both of them after their Jr seasons.

Yeah, but how do you know Chad Henne has a strong arm? That was one of the most aggrivating posts I have read in a while. It's like how do you know a dictionary has definitions in it? Because D.A. it is right there for everyone to see, was that dude 2 years old or what?

But how did you know it was really an aggravating post, and how did it make you feel? :D

Seriously that post started as really aggravating, but i found it comical the further i read

Was a great showcase not only of Henne's arm but also his cool as the pocket collapses around him. The video also reminded me why I wanted Hart as a later pick.. he's very aptly named displaying that intangible that metrics don't measure. (and where are Parmale and Hilliard now???)

What a freaking gun this kid has......man i hope he makes this offseason interesting i would love to see him under center come september should be an interesting summer.

Damn, he played that kinda game against the ****ing gators!!! Henne = superbowl.

Can't WAIT for Henne to get some playing time .. man I love Pennington, especially for grooming him to be the great QB he'll hopefully become, but man I really want to see how Henne does with maybe just .. one half in a REAL game, just one half!

i was thinking maybe Coach Sparano lets Henne play in some games next season...Pennington starts all games, but then gives way to Henne starting the 4th quarter in some games...that way Henne gets some valuable playing time and it'll help him in his growth&development as our QB...

yea dude this guy brings excitement to this team.

That would be great. I'm not sure if Sparano is a guy that would do that though? However .. (and while I hope it never happens) I really want to see Henne in more if the game is out of our hands.. like the Arizona game, but with more playing time

What really gets me though, is the dude REALLY wants his oppurtunity NOW, and you can tell he's just got a fire in him that we need, like Pennington. I really think when he eventually gets his chance, he will be a Pennington type QB, but with a hell of an arm to throw with .. and that my friends, will be a badass QB.
