Hey guys, whats up? Just giving everyone a little inside deal on what the Dolphins are currently looking to do on draft day. I went to the same high school as Chad Henne, and his father still works the gym from time to time. Last night I was in the gym and overheard Mr. Henne talking about his son. According to what I heard from Mr. Henne, Chad has recieved calls from the Dolphins, Vikings, and Falcons. More specifically, Bill Parcells himself called Chad and told him that if he lasts until our pick from San Diego, he can expect to be a Miami Dolphin. However, Bill specifically stated that it HAS to be the 2nd 2nd round pick. I wonder who we have targeted for the 1st 2nd rounder...

dont shoo tme thats what he said not me, just take it for what it is.
 
That would not surprise me at all if we draft Henne with that pick or the next one if he was still there.
 
That sounds a little weird to me. Beginning of February? Usually those types of calls are made early April

I would think Flacco in the 3rd round is also a possibility. I think Henne had a nice college career, but he looked a little small compared to some of the other QB's I saw in a QB competition. Hopefully Parcells will look over Ryan, Brennan, Brohm, Henne, Booty, Flacco, etc., and decide whether to draft a QB or bring in another FA.

Yea thats dumb they wouldnt tell anybody that because they would know that would Go to the Media
 
Gotta be careful on where and what you here sometiems..... rumors can fly quick... some people i cant trust what i hear from them sometiems (not saying this is the situation)...
............. I highly doubt they scouted and plotted this already, this soon after jsut putting their staff completely together

good point and as rumors are passed on, they tend to get bigger by addition of "extra" details by the next person. I wouldnt look into any rumors untill something acutally happens. We could possibly know what we want to do after one big signing or two
