Sparano is on the hot seat and a loss against San Diego could have been enough for Ross to pull the plug. However, once his starting QB went down in the first quarter, Sparano gained immunity in my opinion even if they lost. I said there was probably a 55-60% chance he would be fired if they lost to the Chargers. They did lose, but by losing Henne I think the odds are much lower now. Probably in the 5-10% range that Ross fires him this week. Not happening imo.

If only we had a previous track record to go on in order to make an informed decision about whether he is a good coach or not.

Unfortunately I think you are right. Don't forget the Thomas injury, that might also help Sparanos cause.

Don't worry... your IDOL will be back behind center in 2 weeks

You might be right, but IMO, either way, one more consecutive home loss and his goose is cooked.

I agree that he won't be fired, but I think it's mostly because Ross doesn't have the sack. Moore played just as well if not better than Henne. The coaching mistakes and lack of desire from our team was still there.

Keeping Sparano only increases the odds of Andrew Luck, so I hope that you are right.

Please Ross, don't fire our beloved fistpumping leader.

Nothin will come of firing Sparano now....might aswsell ride this train til the fists pump off...

I don't see a firing happening here particularly soon. There's no one to promote. Mike Nolan's defense has been bad and our assistant Head Coach, secondary coach Todd Bowles, is a nobody who isn't going to bring people back into the stadium.

One thing's for sure, our game after the bye week against the Jets on Monday Night will be the last home game any of us in South Florida get to watch on TV. Blackouts a'plenty are coming.

I hope so! Keep this moron until the end of the season. An interim coach accomplishes absolutely nothing.
