Henne injury = immunity for Sparano

I agree that he won't be fired, but I think it's mostly because Ross doesn't have the sack. Moore played just as well if not better than Henne. The coaching mistakes and lack of desire from our team was still there.

got to stop this crap right now. moore couldnt hit open bess over middle. that play henne makes.

Again, show me where I defended Sparano in this thread or any thread in the past couple of weeks?

i will defend Nubs on this in the past few weeks he has come to the same realization that mnay of us had last year

Immunity?? I surely hope not.

The cause for Henne's injury was because the players were not on the same page on that play. This falls back on the coach for not preparing his players well enough to learn the playbook. If anything, Henne's injury is a direct result of poor coaching in the unpreparedness of the team. Henne tried to hand off the ball and decided to run with it after the running back took off.

Please do not try and turn this into a personal thread. There is a topic, STAY ON IT.

I wasn't referring to just you. I don't consider this personal.

And anyhow, you asked people to show posts of yours saying where you had said recently that you had supported Sparano recently. Once you do that, it's appropriate for me or someone else to say that the credit goes to those who knew he was a poor coach and should be fired before recently. That's all.

The train left the station on this issue so long ago it's almost too late to fire him and accomplish anything positive.

Henne's injury does not factor in one way or the other. Ross's mind was made up before the game what he is going to do.

immunity?

We all know Sporano sucks. What in the world does he do well?

Columbo still started, so we all know Sporano's decision making was not up to par. He has no system, the o line sucks. He should not have lasted last offseason. Fire his a** and dont think twice.

Could be a desperate attempt to keep his job. I have to wonder if Henne staying out was just to give Sparano an excuse to stay passed the bye. I don't think it should have any bearing on anything. Sparano should stay until the end because Ross is entirely culpable in this mess and there's no positive alternative.

when do the fans get immunity from this horrible circle of baffoons running our proud franchise?

Sparano has one foot on bananna peel and the other in the gutter. I guess losing a crap qb, is an excuse for the rest of the team not playing well. Give Sparano an extention, he's earned it.

At this point keep him! It only makes the new regimes job easier. The total failure that is the trifecta is exposed more with every snap!

Hopefully the injury does grant Sparano immunity.

However, we're in a very tricky spot right now. If the injury DOES give Sparano immunity, then the injury is at least semi-severe.

This means Matt Moore will get a lot of reps heading into the matchup against the Jets BUT the problem now is that Ireland is forced to activate Devlin and probably sbring in someone else (ie: Garrard). Garrard is the kind of guy who could step in and contribute right away. This could lead to a string of wins that takes us out of the running for Luck or Barkley.

We have to play the perfect hand of poker here.

I admit I have a hard time understanding what people want here. Do we?

1. Want Sparano fired so we can continue to suck and get Andrew Luck?
2. Want Sparano to get fired so we can tunr things around and get some wins?

Firing Sparano now seems like a contradiction to "Suck For Luck" to me. If we really are serious about wanting to be in position to get Andrew Luck why aren't we cheering for this train to just keep rolling the way that it is? I think the biggest issue with the 2011 Miami Dolphins is just that the majority of the players aren't nearly as good as we think they are. If I hear anyone say Brandon Marshall is a top 5 WR or Devone Bess is close to Wes Welker or Kevin Burnett is an upgrade to Channing Crowder or Sean Smith has good ball skills I may need to be rushed to the ER because I'll be laughing so hard I won't be able to breath.
