Henne is extremely accurate today 08/11

I was at the practice today and i will say out of all the QBs his spiral and accuraccy was dead on but Pennington look great too which will make Hennes starter hopes go down this season unless things change. His long ball was great tho, he at times look like he wasnt reading the D-fense like Pennington but he didnt throw a INT like Pennington either. SO i think his progression is looking good.

Are you kidding me?..better spirals! lol

Chad P.'s the man in 2009 and beyond!

The man has a very strong arm and bright future in the NFL. I am very excited about his arm for the passing game. When his time comes, he will be ready.

The Dolphins have a great problem with the QB's now. They used to have the exact opposite problem. Now we have really good depth at QB and can utilize our formations.

Their is a reason this FO signed him for only 2 years. Next year Henne enters year 3 of a 4 year contract. Unless you believe Henne will be a unknown quantity to the NFL and will be allowed to walk after his 4th year, there is no merit to believe Penny will be around any later than his contract.
Penny is a stop gap player, with a history of being hurt every other year. Hence his 2 Comeback Player of the Year awards.

Well he was with the pathetic Jets, so nothing that happens there counts. So of course Penny had a bad history there. Because the pathetic Jests have a pathetic history.

You know, kinda like the tune "Benny and the Jets" by the Beastie Boys.

Penny and the Dolphins >>> Penny and the Jets.

Heck, Brett Favre was known as an extremely durable QB.. What happened as soon as he went to the Jets ??? He got his butt kicked and he got hurt is what happened..

Nothing what happens with the Jets ever counts. Just like nothing that happens to players on the Raiders ever count.... Crappy organizations that have no merit.

Pennington was way too good for the Jets.. Penny has more class in the microscopic dirt in his fingernail than that sh*t organization ever had in it's history.

I know that Pennington is the better QB right now but in terms of just the way their passes look Henne absolutely blows him away. Those passes are on a different level compared to Pennington. And both drilled the middle net perfectly.

Don't get me wrong Rhody Phins, I love Henne's game.

I was just pointing out the injury history and Pennington.... And that whatever happens to a player on the Jets should never be taken into consideration.

We have to be careful with the reports coming out of trainning camp. Sparano is just like Bill, they can make you look good in practice or make you look like your having a bad day. They do this because they want to see how you respond to adversity. That's a good sign to see Henne bounce back with a good day. Former players always say how they loved playing real games because it was easier and less stressful than practice. I have a feeling Henne will tear it up in the preseason games which will be a breeze compared to what he goes through in two a days with Sparano.

Sparano thanks for preparing our QB of the Future...............

You mentioned the Raiders in a earlier post, when is the last time they as a franchise have been to a Super Bowl? And MIA?
K, now we move on.
As for the history of Penny and the Jets. To discount the history of someone due to where and who they played for is silly to be mild about it. Penny has a history, and no matter how much people around here care to re write his history...his lack of staying healthy is a problem. If you believe this FO made a mistake to signing him for only 2 years then you can make that argument. But then justify back to back 2nd round selections of QBs. Both of which signed 4 year contracts. Henne will be starting next year and Penny will be in MINN (my guess).
If you still believe Penny will be around after this year...who walks? Henne or White? Henne will be a unknown NFL talent until he shows his work on the field, and won't get that chance if Penny is still around.
