We'll just agree to disagree. See, I feel the Miami Dolphins offense (which consists of 11 players) isn't scoring in the redzone. I've seen Henne make some questionable decisions, the O-Line not blocking well and Marshall not coming up with balls that have hit him in the hands in the endzone. Football is a team sport.
But when you only bring up negative plays by Henne when critiquing the redzone woes then yes, I have to call nitpicking.
Well, since Henne had a perfect chance to lead a game winning drive and didn't complete a single pass, I guess we can extend this discussion to more than sucking in the red zone, can't we?
Henne has through 2 years of starting been statistically in the absolute bottom of NFL QB's at playing with the game on the line. And his problems extend to the red zone, even when he does every other single thing right. And it's a simple explanation why; he is a choke artist. There is nothing else to it. Look at the Titans, Texans, and Bucs games his rookie year. Look at his stretch run last year, where he lost to the exact same team we played today and to the Lions in incredibly simple fashion. He chokes when the game is on the line, or when there is a chance to cap off his good efforts.
And he always will be.
