After analyzing yesterday's game in greater detail, I come away feeling really good about our QB. When you factor in the drops all season, and the pressure induced interceptions, Henne's decision making and accuracy is astounding.

He had three interceptions right? Two of them were the result of getting hit while throwing. The one to Brian Hartline that was underthrown was underthrown because Henne was getting hit. The point is, that was a good decision, just got disrupted by the Buffalo defense which was getting past our SECOND string Center.

The out pattern to Bess that was intercepted was a legitimate bad decision. Henne felt the pressure and threw it too fast. The tipped ball interception was probably a bad decision but we don't know if the receiver should have stopped or not. Remember that Henne is starting to get the timing and instincts down of his receivers (how good was the TD throw to Hartline in the first half?).

What I'm excited about is the fact that Henne is a good decision maker with a great arm. Most of the mistakes he's making now come as the result of poor protection (not an excuse, but definitely a factor). If Grove is in there on two of those ints, Henne completes one of them for a big gain, the other probably falls incomplete.

I am eccstatic about the guy we have. He's going to be better than Flacco or Ryan eventually. When we get him some real receiving firepower he's going to be great. Incidentally, how many different receivers have caught touchdowns from Henne? It has to be more than either Ryan or Flacco.

Sperry, Hartline, Bess, Polite, Haynos, Ginn, Fasano, Brown, Williams, Camarillo, Some lineman I don't recall his name right now...

Just wait until the kid gets a true tight end, and a legitimate number one and two receiver.

Sky's the limit.

The future looks bright Dolphans!

I am happy with Henne as our QB. I don't put too much blame on him for the INTs as he tried to get us back in the game. When you have Ginn as your #1 WR you cannot expect much. I think Bess, Camarillo and Hartline are ok, but we need a definite upgrade in our WR's next year.....I would try to draft a Dez Bryant or Golden Tate, and then acquire a good free agent QB.

I think our OC has to do a better job with playcalling, and I hope Henne is gone next year. If we are going to continue with the Wildcat, maybe we can bring in a college coach who knows how to call plays out of the WC formation. I think lot of what we decide to do will depend on Ronnie's Brown contract next year and how the rest of this season plays out.

I think Henne is our franchise QB....it's the rest of the team I worry about.

He sucks I don't get what anyone sees in him. He will never be half the qb Pennington is.

Obviously using logic like the above post is going to get you nowhere on this forum. I have found the best thing to do is to waiver somewhere in the middle so it is convenient to come on here and bash a guy when he didn't play well and then disappear when he is playing good...:rolleyes2::rolleyes2:

Henne will be fine as long as we give him good weapons. Henne right now is like the guy going to a gunfight with a knife.

I wanted to see him in several games before making my decision. Even after the 3 pick performance, I still feel he is our future. I like his skill set and demeanor and I feel he will only get better with time.

Glad to know we do not have to look at drafting a QB high.

He sucks I don't get what anyone sees in him. He will never be half the qb Pennington is.

I think you could say the same thing about John Elway, Steve Young and many other QB's in their first couple years. I'm glad you're not our GM. :rolleyes2:

if you gave henne the wide reciever core of half the teams in the nfl, he would explode. just think if he had the reciever core of arizona, green bay, minnesotta, or new england? he would be a top 10 qb. he has shown every trait a franchise qb possess and if we get him some decient options at wr, not to mentiion te, he will explode.

Well I really hope he see's his 3 interceptions different then the majority of the board. When a play doesn't go as designed every player on the field needs to break down every aspect of the game.

When you are a QB and the ball leaves your hand and it ends up in the defenders 99% of the time you have done something wrong.

The first pick, he felt the pressure started to step up in the pocket. What he did wrong was rush the throw, if he continued to step up the pass rush would have folded behind him, if he would have kept moving forward he would have had a HUGE passing lane and a wide open Hartline. I am sure Henne, Penny and Lee will talk about that on the film today.

The second and third pick were a result of tunnel vision. His head and eyes never left the right side of the field. This with a long throwing motion made it easier for the dline to time their jump. The third pick was the mirror image of what he did in the last preseason game against Tampa.

This is were coaching and game experience will pay dividends. He will learn to continue moving forward in the pocket and throw a pump fake in their.

It is ok to say he did something wrong guys! I don't understand the rush to say it wasn't his fault. Every great QB will tell you if they throw a INT there is always something they should have done different to prevent it. These are the growing pains of a young QB, it is ok to say he made a mistake and it doesn't label him a BUST!

Get him T.Scheffler TE and A.Bryant or D.Bryant and nothing changes except Henne's stats. Henning has to be replaced or we'll continue to lose games we should win. Replace Henning and add offensive weapons and the skys the limit for us.

If Bess was on the pat's he could have almost equal numbers as welker. Hartline looks good and camarillo is a solid wr.

Bess is a very solid wr but sorry henne does not get him the ball enough
