........even WVDolphan is starting to think it was a good idea to pass on Matt Ryan with the first pick and nab Henne in round 2. :lol: :woot:

Henne was rated right up there, if not better, then Flacco.
I like where were headed!!!
i do believe we have found our QB of the future and man does that future look bright.

An interesting scenario started to circulate on Thursday. If Ryan were to go to the Falcons, the Ravens could trade out of the eighth pick in the first round, dropping down to take Michigan quarterback Chad Henne.

Most draft experts believe Henne should go in the bottom of the first or the top of the second round, but it's not out of the question for the Ravens to consider him as high as the 10th pick. That would require a trade with the New Orleans Saints, who would be trying to acquire USC defensive tackle Sedrick Elllis.

The league better brace itself for some serious "Hennetration." Canon rifle, precision timing, great check downs, mobility on rollouts, iron-steel nerves in the face of kitchen sink blitzes, and humbleness afterwards. Who could ask for anything more? If his name was "Hennechez" the media would now be anointing him as the chosen child..

Ryan and Flacco have been great, but Henne is off to just as an auspicious start as any newbie QB I can think of.

that play on the last drive where the Jets brought the heat on Henne and he hung in there and threw that out to to Cam towards the sideline was great. He showed some true skill last night.


They were gonna torment our rookie QB with no NFL experience i thought they said (jetsattack, revischrist etc) but he played better than Drew Brees and Tom Brady....
 
He looked so goood I put an extra o in the good.

He made a lot of different throws (rolling out, off his back foot with Rhodes in his face, the bomb, the cannon, the check down). Our O-line did an amazing job, as did our coaching, but Henne was awesome.
