I know that is obvious, but I was reading that when we brought WR's to private workouts they had Henne throwing the ball. Could be nothing but I like how he was at the helm.

Is this an ad or a post? Better ad than post IMO....

maybe; maybe not
we'll see how it all pans out this season
wouldn't put all my eggs in one basket

They had to bring him in,because Pennington kept lining up at the wide reciever position

The only future that matters right now is 2009, and that belongs to #10 James Chadwick Pennington.

Enjoy the ride!

I think Pennington will bring more to the table this year than last. He really should be the focus of attention @this point in our game. Sometimes you don't see the forest for the trees:Dhe could be the future & the Franchise QB to take us to the SuperBowl. This is 2009 not 1947. Look @ the last SuperBowl. Anything can happen.

I hedge all bets

It's sublimely ironic how many of the same ones who are ready to discard Beck on the basis of not much more than 5 games are as equally eager to anoint Henne, (a QB who couldn't win most of his important college games) as our Future Franchise QB on the basis of one shared-snaps exhibition season and an appearance in the mop game out in the desert. I'm hopeful but would more prudently reserve judgment until there's a more conclusive body of work from which to objectively decide.

Henne may be the future, he may not be. The FO could pull what tennessee and arizona is pulling. Make Henne beat out Pennington. Henne may be more gifted physically, but it may take awhile till he beats Pennington mentally.

Just read what our brass has to say about Henne though. They are the ones who anoint him subtly. It's not just a message board thing.

no one is anointed :foundout:
opportunity is not resolution
they're simply giving Henne the chance to lay an egg
and hoping that it will be made of gold (i.e.the golden hen)
otherwise the becking order could change:lol:

the field dictates, the FrontOffice speculates
